Self-Assertion is the individual ability to express any emotion well, except the anxiety. The decrease of the individuals asserting behavior makes them face many difficulties that prevent their social adjustment. Moreover it reflexes many negative behavioral and physical cases. The individual, who fails to express his or her negative feelings in required situations, feels with dissatisfaction, loneliness, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, conflict, and psychological disorder.
Accordingly, the importance of this study is represented in studying the self-assertion and studying the university students who reflect the strength of society.
The following are the two aims of the study:
1. Construct an asserting behavior scale.

The current study aims to assess the effectiveness of the cognitive-behavioral programs in reducing stuttering and social anxiety among high-school students. The researchers used the experimental design. The sample consists of (20) male students who reported the highest score on the stuttering severity scale and social anxiety scale. The sample was divided into experimental and control groups (each group consists of 10 participants). The researcher used the type and severity of stuttering scale developed by Onslow et al (2003), translated by Mahmoud Ismail and the social anxiety scale was prepared by the authors. The purposes of this study are to measure masculine's identification among secondary school students, and to examine the significant differences among secondary school students in respect of students age (16-18) year. The researcher has prepared a questionnaire comprised (25) item to measure masculine identification among students: this scale was applied on (100) student who were selected as a sample from four different school at al-rusafa side in Baghdad. The scale then modified to (23) item to be more consistent. The results revealed that there were no significant differences among students based on the variable of age, and the mean of masculine identification showed a high level than the hypothesized mean.

The current research attempts to examine the relationship between social-psychological conflict and their relation to family upbringing approaches among the adolescents of intermediate stage according to sex and economical level. Iraqi EFL college instructors, who supervise the teaching practice of EFL student teachers, commonly experience the inefficient teaching performance of prospective teachers. This inefficiency is usually due to their inability to make connections between the practical experience and the theoretical knowledge of TEFL. One of the reasons behind this inability may be the employment of traditional ways of training and instructing student teachers. Moreover, it is usually noticed that many Iraqi EFL student teachers have a negative attitude toward the teaching profession.
