The current research aims to identify the level of parental treatment methods tolerance, hostility, strictness, and warmth, as well as the level of self-efficacy among middle school students. Moreover, it aims to identify the correlation relationship between the variables of parental treatment methods and self-efficacy among middle school students. The research sample included (150) middle school students. For achieving the objectives of the current research, the researchers adopted a scale of parental treatment methods prepared by (Zughair, 2006), and a scale of self-efficacy prepared by (Youssef, 2016), which were applied in their final form to the research sample. The research reached the following results: parents use a low-level hostility style and a high-level warmth style with their daughters at the expense of the hostile style.There is a statistical significance difference in self-efficacy among middle school students. The correlation between self-efficacy and the styles of tolerance and warmth was statistically significant. The correlation between self-efficacy, strictness and hostility styles were not statistically significant. In light of the results of the current research, the researchers presented a set of recommendation and suggestions.
New series of 4,4'-((2-(Aryl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole1,3(2H)-diyl)bis(methylene))Diphenol(3a-g) was successfully synthesized from cyclization of the reduction product of bis Schiff bases (2) with aryl aldehydes bearing phenolic hydroxyl in the presence of acetic acid. The structure of these compounds was identified from FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and EIMs. The Antioxidant capability was screened by DPPH and FRAP assays. In this work, 50 uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) isolated from children with urinary tract infections were genotypically characterized by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay. We used two genes; fimH and kpsMTII, both of them previously identified in uropathogenic E.coli (UPEC) isolates. The PCR assay results identified fimH (90.0)% and kpsMTII (72.0)% isolates. In the present study, was also demonstrated that these genes may be included in both or one of them within a single isolate.
Abstract The current study is a theoretical study that aims to underline the role of picture books as a serious genre of children's literature in raising children's understanding of English literature and life concepts; especially for non-English speakers. Unfortunately, most Iraqi people have developed a social phobia of learning English since childhood.
