Analyzing the Literary Criticism Book Questions for High School Stage According to Bloom's Classification

Abstract

 The current research aims to identify the analysis of the questions for the book of literary criticism for the preparatory stage according to Bloom's classification. The research community consists of (34) exercises and (45) questions. The researcher used the method of analyzing questions and prepared a preliminary list that includes criteria that are supposed to measure exercises, which were selected based on Bloom's classification and the extant literature related to the topic. The scales were exposed to a jury of experts and specialists in curricula and methods of teaching the Arabic language. The scales obtained a complete agreement. Thus, it was adapted to become a reliable instrument in this study. The finding of the research showed that the literary criticism book questions for the sixth grade focused on the level of (comprehension, recollection, and application). the level of comprehension was more than the level of remembering followed by the application. As for the level of analysis and synthesis, the percentage was small, while the evaluation level was almost non-existent. Most of the book's topic questions include the curriculum content. Lastly, the book was more sensitive to the research criteria. In light of the results of the research, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.

Weathering effects on the thermal conductivity of PS/PMMA blends for packaging application

This work describes the weathering effects (UV-Irradiation, and Rain) on the thermal conductivity of PS, PMMA, PS/PMMA blend for packaging application. The samples were prepared by cast method at different ratios (10, 30, 50, 70, and 90 %wt). It was seen that the thermal conductivity of PMMA (0.145 W/m.K), and for PS(0.095 W/m.K), which increases by PS ratio increase up to 50% PS/PMMA blend then decreased that was attributed to increase in miscibility of the blend involved. By UV-weathering, it was seen that thermal conductivity for PMMA increased with UV-weathering up to (30hr) then decreased, that was attributed to rigidity and defect formation, respectively. Kinetic- spectrophotometric Method for the Determination of Naringenin in Pure and Supplements Formulations

          Simple, cheap, sensitive, and accurate kinetic- spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of naringenin in pure and supplements formulations. The method is based on the formation of Prussian blue. The product dye exhibits a maximum absorbance at 707 nm.
