The Effect of Educational Program Based on the (Guttmann) Model for Developing Awareness and Emotional Experience among University Students
...Show More Authors

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the level of awareness and emotional experience among university students and to identify the effect of the educational program based on (Guttmann) model for developing awareness and emotional experience among university students by verifying the validity of the following zero hypotheses: 1) There are no statistically significant differences in the development of awareness and emotional experience among university students at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post-tests. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in the development of awareness and emotional experience among university students at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the control group in the pre and post-tests. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the development of awareness and emotional experience among university students at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean scores of the control group in the post-test. The researchers developed an instrument for measuring awareness skills and emotional experience through a question posed about how to respond to emotional situations and the individual’s ability to emotionally control through and after the emotional situation. The two researchers developed an educational program based on the Guttmann model, which consisted of (16) lessons that continue for (50) minutes of each lesson. The experimental group consisted of (40) students: (20) males, and (20) females selected intentionally from the first class at the College of Basic Education. A pre-test was conducted to find out awareness skills and emotional experience. The experimental pre-posttest design with a single group was chosen as it fits the research sample. The findings of the research revealed there is a statistically significant difference in the level of awareness skills and emotional experience after exposure to the program. There are no statistically significant differences in the development of awareness skills and emotional experience among university students, as well as between the mean scores of the control group in the pre and post-tests. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-test in developing awareness skills and emotional experience in favor of the experimental group. The researchers presented a set of recommendations and suggestions.

The effect of cardiorespiratory fitness training on developing speed endurance, heart rate adaptation, and men's 1500-meter running performance
...Show More Authors

The problem of the research is that there is a weakness in speed endurance, which has a direct impact on achievement, as it leads to early fatigue, lack of concentration, and a low level of effectiveness of performance, which made the researchers interested in this problem and finding solutions to it. Hence the importance of the research is evident: preparing cardiorespiratory fitness training to develop speed endurance and rate adaptation. The heartbeat that occurs in runners is a continuous result of training and the use of a type of training that suits the requirements of the 1500-meter running competition. The researchers used the experimental approach with pre- and post-testing for the experimental and control groups. The resea

Oral cancer awareness among group of general dental practitioners in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Background: The early detection of oral cancers gives the greatest chance of curing and the delay in presentation has a significant impact on the associated morbidity and mortality. The lack of general dental practitioners (GDP) knowledge in early cancer detection has been shown to contribute to delays in referral and treatment. The aim of this study was to investigate the oral cancer awareness among a group of GDP by assessing their knowledge of detection and prevention of oral cancer. Materials and methods: A questionnaire based study was designed. The questionnaire was delivered to 200 GDP assessing oral examination method, knowledge of oral cancer risk factors, clinical appearance and the most common site, point of referral and requests

The Effect of Metallicity on the AGB Stars Evolution by Using Synthetic Model
...Show More Authors

Abstract: Stars whose initial masses are between (0.89 - 8.0) M☉ go through an Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) phase at the end of their life. Which have been evolved from the main sequence phase through Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB). The calculations were done by adopted Synthetic Model showed the following results: 1- Mass loss on the AGB phase consists of two phases for period (P <500) days and for (P>500) days; 2- the mass loss rate exponentially increases with the pulsation periods; 3- The expansion velocity VAGB for our stars are calculated according to the three assumptions; 4- the terminal velocity depends on several factors likes metallicity and luminosity. The calculations indicated that a super wind phase (S.W) developed on the A

The research is adopted the experimental method with two groups design. The sample of the research is 8 players (13-15 years). The sample is divided into two groups of 4 players for each group. Both groups are exposed to pre and post tests, after the experimented were finished, the results are statically analyzed. The results have showed that there are positive developing abilities of motor and physiological of service skill in badminton. Finally, these prepared exercises are recommended for developing players’ abilities in badminton.
