The phenomenon of delayed marriage triggered the intention of most researchers and specialists to reveal the social factors associated with the spread of this phenomenon in order to identify the characteristics of that phenomenon and the social factors resulting from it. Thus, the current research aims to identify the social factors most related to the delay in marriage age among working-women at the University of Baghdad, represented by family factors, economic factors-professional, psychological factors – subjective, and environmental factors. The researcher also aims to identify the differences in social factors associated with late marriage age for working women at the University of Baghdad in terms of the type of profession (teacher-employee). The two researchers designed a questionnaire aimed at measuring the social factors leading to delaying marriage among women. The results of the research showed that the social factors represented by (family factors, economic - professional factors, psychological - personal factors, and environmental factors) have an equal effect on delaying the age of marriage for women working at Baghdad University. There is no effect of professional type of social factors (family factors, psychological factors - subjective and environmental factors) on delaying the age of marriage among women working at Baghdad University, but there was an effect of the variable of the type of profession of the professional-economic factors and for the benefit of female employees. The study presented a set of recommendations and Suggestions.

To this end, the researcher used the scale of Al-tememe (2017) for the vigilant personality, the scale was administered to the sample of the study which was (100) male and female teachers.
