The current research aims to identify "the impact of the round table strategies and the question of self-achievement and self-efficacy among students of the Faculty of Education in research methodology course.” The research sample consisted of (75) male and female-third stage students in the department of Life Sciences / College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Dhi Qar for the academic year (2018-2019. The researcher adopted the experimental approach to achieving the study objectives. The researcher prepared two tools: the achievement test and the self-efficacy scale were applied to the collected sample to obtain the needed data. The result showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the two experimental and control groups in achievement and self-efficacy. It also concluded teaching the research methodology based on the strategies of the round table and the self-question contributes to increasing the level of self-efficacy and achievement. The researcher suggested conducting a study that reveals the effectiveness of the strategies of the round table and self-questioning in relation to other variables such as motivation, inclination, direction, critical thinking, and creative thinking.
The study highlighted the transformation of value systems and educational patterns between past and present, especially with the introduction of modern variables and means, such as mobile phones, the internet, social media, and others. These factors have contributed both positively and negatively to the study. The study highlights the integral role of the school in collaboration with the family in guiding and educating children. It also emphasizes the active role of the school in developing students' abilities and skills, either attracting them to school or vice versa. Self-Assertion is the individual ability to express any emotion well, except the anxiety. The decrease of the individuals asserting behavior makes them face many difficulties that prevent their social adjustment. Moreover it reflexes many negative behavioral and physical cases. The individual, who fails to express his or her negative feelings in required situations, feels with dissatisfaction, loneliness, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, conflict, and psychological disorder.
