Here lies the problem of the research to find possible means and alternative methods to reduce (rationalization) electrical energy consumption in hot dry areas in general which need large energy for air conditioning because of the crucial climate of these regions that making access to the area of human thermal comfort is difficult, and especially in Iraq, as a result of suffering from constraints rationalizing the electric energy consumption, through the use of modern technologies that consistent with our environment, as well as traditional processors to limit the negative impact of climatic conditions on man’s thermal comfort. Based on the premise that there are planning methods related to the characteristics of the urban fabric and architectural solutions related to buildings design that can be used to reduce the negative impact of elements of the harsh climate in our hot dry regions and population access to thermal comfort without total reliance on artificial means of air conditioning. To achieve the goal of the research and make sure of his hypothesis, The research methodology have been based on the collection of theoretical information of climate elements and put some of the methods and processes used in urban planning and buildings design with a direct impact on the characteristics of the urban fabric through which we can reduce the negative impact of climate in our hot dry regions . The practical part adopt the comparative analysis by choosing Al- Adhamiya city in Baghdad, which contain a traditional style with traditional solutions harmonious with our environment, and the modern style with transmitted processors that are often unfit with our environment

This work is concerned with the study of the effect of cement types, particularly OPC and SRPC, which are the main cement types manufactured in Iraq. In addition, study the effect of mineral admixtures, which are HRM and SF on the resistance of high performance concrete (HPC) to internal sulphate attack. The HRM is used at (10%) and SF is used at (8 and 10)% as a partial replacement by weight of cement for both types. The percentages of sulphate investigated are (1,2 and 3)% by adding natural gypsum as a partial replacement by weight of fine aggregate. The tests carried out in this work are: compressive strength, flexural strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity, and density at the age of 7, 28, 90 and 120 days.

The method of incineration was chosen to treat the most commonly used antimicrobial agents in Iraq (Triclabendazol, Oxfendazol, Mebendazole), which are antibiotics for children. The moisture content and chemical oxygen demand (COD) were examined and the results were (93.34, 94.88, 92.97)%, (52000, 33200, and 64000) mg/ L. The temperature was determined as a variable in the burning process (600, 500, 400)° C for the purpose of calculating the loss of ignition LOI and determining the ideal temperature. Iron slag is a byproduct generated in huge quantities from recycled remnants of iron and steel factories; therefore, the possibility of using this waste in the removal of benzaldehyde from contaminated water offers an excellent topic in sustainability field. Results reveal that the removal efficiency was equal to 85% for the interaction of slag and water contaminated with benzaldehyde at the best operational conditions of 0.3 g/100 mL, 6, 180 min, and 250 rpm for the sorbent dosage, initial pH, agitation time, and speed, respectively with 300 mg/L initial concentration.
