We propose a system to detect human faces in color images type BMP by using two methods RGB and YCbCr to determine which is the best one to be used, also determine the effect of applying Low pass filter, Contrast and Brightness on the image. In face detection we try to find the forehead from the binary image by scanning of the image that starts in the middle of the image then precedes by finding the continuous white pixel after continuous black pixel and the maximum width of the white pixel by scanning left and right vertically(sampled w) if the new width is half the previous one the scanning stops.

This Study aimed to studying the effect of Volatile oil extracted from the leaves of Myrtus communis on the growth and activities of the following types of bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Klebsilla pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and the yeast Candida albicans. The results showed an inhibitory effect of the oil on both the growth and activity of the tested microbes. This was reflected by the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Klebsilla pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa which was: (2.5, 1.25, and 2.5,5 % respectively), and the yeast (5) %. This thesis aims to study the effect of addition polymer materials on mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete, and also to assess the influence of petroleum products (kerosene and gas oil) on mechanical properties of polymer modified self-compacting concrete (PMSCC) after different exposure periods of (30 ,60 ,90 ,and 180 days).

Two type of curing are used; 28 days in water for SCC and 2 days in water followed 26 days in air for PMSCC.
