Bond Stresses between Reinforcing Bar and Reactive Powder Concrete
...Show More Authors

A good performance of reinforced concrete structures is ensured by the bond between steel and concrete, which makes the materials work together, forming a part of solidarity. The behavior of the bond between the reinforcing bar and the surrounding concrete is significant to evaluate the cracking control in serviceability limit state and load capacity in the ultimate limit state. In this investigation, the bond stresses between reinforcing bar and reactive powder concrete (RPC) was considered to compare it with that of normal strength concrete (NSC). The push-out test with short embedment length is considered in this study to evaluate the bond strength, bond stress-slip relationship, and bond stress-crack width relationship for reactive powder concrete members. The compressive strength of concrete, the nominal diameter of reinforcement, concrete cover, and amount of steel fibers and embedded length of reinforcement were considered as variables in this study.

The test results show that the ultimate bond stress increased with increasing of the compressive strength of concrete, decreasing the nominal diameter of the reinforcing bar, increasing the concrete cover and increasing steel fiber content. In a bond stress-slip relationship, the NSC specimen shows a very short softening zone after reaching the peak point in comparisons with RPC specimen. In RPC, bond stress-slip relationship shows stiffer behavior when the steel fiber content was increased. RPC shows stepper softening zone due to the presence of steel fiber, and the absence of steel fiber cause push-out failure without descending part after peak point. Using NSC instead of RPC in anchorage between reinforcement and concrete, decrease the crack width produced due to radial tensile stresses through the push-out of reinforcing bar. In RPC, the absence of steel fiber, decrease the nominal diameter of the reinforcing bar, increase the concrete cover, decrease the embedded length of reinforcing bar cause push-out failure and vice versa cause splitting failure.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds and prayers to our master and our beloved Muhammad and to his God and companions.
The Sunnah of the prophet completed the prayer and delivery agreed to accept them as evidence of legislation, and the fundamentalists differed in accepting the news of Sundays in the pieces, and most likely if the hadeeth is proven, and completed the correct conditions there is no objection to accept it in branches and pieces. As for the work of the people of the city is one of the evidence adopted when the imam Malik, who is the Imam of the House of the Prophet's blessed immigration, and scientists differ greatly. The Correlation between Serum Total Adiponectin and Hemoglobin in Type 2 Diabetic Patients without Microalbuminuria
...Show More Authors

Low serum total adiponectin is associated with a high incidence of type 2 diabetes or coronary artery disease in the general population. Paradoxically, serum total adiponectin is elevated in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), such as overt diabetic nephropathy. The current study aimed to investigate whether or not  anemia to be dependently associated with serum level of total adiponectin in  non-albuminuric male patients with type 2 diabetes . The study included 42 type 2 diabetic male patients. Anemia was defined as hemoglobin (Hb) below 14.0g/dL. All the patients were without microalbuminuria, to exclude diabetic nephropathy. The diabetic patients were divided into 2 groups according to the hemoglobin level in ad

The Suggested Reciprocal Relationship between Maximum, Minimum and Optimum Usable Frequency Parameters Over Iraqi Zone
...Show More Authors

In this work, the relationship between the ionospheric parameters (Maximum Usable Frequency (MUF), Lowest Usable Frequency (LUF) and Optimum working Frequency (OWF)) has been studied for the ionosphere layer over the Iraqi zone. The capital Baghdad (44.42oE, 33.32oN) has been selected to represent the transmitter station and many other cities that spread over Iraqi region have represented as receiver stations. The REC533 communication model considered as one of the modern radio broadcasting version of ITU has been used to calculate the LUF parameter, while the MUF and OWF ionospheric parameters have been generated using ASAPS international communication model which represents one of the most advanced  and accurate HF sky wave prop

Comparison Between Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian Methods For Estimating The Gamma Regression With Practical Application
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we will illustrate a gamma regression model assuming that the dependent variable (Y) is a gamma distribution and that it's mean ( ) is related through a linear predictor with link function which is identity link function g(μ) = μ. It also contains the shape parameter which is not constant and depends on the linear predictor and with link function which is the log link and we will estimate the parameters of gamma regression by using two estimation methods which are The Maximum Likelihood and the Bayesian and a comparison between these methods by using the standard comparison of average squares of error (MSE), where the two methods were applied to real da

A Fuzzy ARDL Model for Estimating the Dynamic Relationship between Government Revenues and Fiscal Balance
...Show More Authors

The relationship between government revenues and the fiscal balance represents a central pillar in the analysis of fiscal sustainability. However, its modeling faces a fundamental challenge in the form of structural uncertainty, which is not captured by point estimates in traditional models such as ARDL, as these models assume structural stability that is inconsistent with the nature of rentier economies. The current study aims to develop a fuzzy framework by constructing a Fuzzy Autoregressive Distributed Lag (FARDL) model. This is achieved through integrating the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach with fuzzy logic theory, thereby enabling the incorporation of uncertainty into the inherent structure of the economic rela
