Background: Acute appendicitis is regarded as one of the most common inflammation that needs surgical intervention. Different scoring systems have been used for diagnosing of acute appendicitis. ALVARADO score is one of the most widely used score in diagnosing of acute appendicitis, but the accuracy of the latter is insufficiently low in Middle-East patients. Thus a new scoring system called RIPASA score has been designed for diagnosing of acute appendicitis in those patients. To find out a simple and efficient equation to estimate maize ear grain weight on farm (in situ), twenty three maize crosses along with two synthetics were grown in the field. On the experimental farm of the Dept. of Field Crop Sci., College of Agric., Univ. of Baghdad, seeds of twenty five maize genotypes were grown in the fall season of 2013 with three replicates. Groundwater can be assessed by studying water wells. This study was conducted in Al-Wafa District, Anbar Governorate, Iraq. The water samples were collected from 24 different wells in the study area, in January 2021. A laboratory examination of the samples was conducted. Geographical information systems technique was relied on to determine the values of polluting elements in the wells. Thin films of iridium doped indium oxide (In2O3:Eu)with different doping ratio(0,3,5,7,and 9%) are prepared on glass and single crystal silicon wafer substrates using spray pyrolysis method. The goal of this research is to investigate the effect of doping ratio on of the structural, optical and sensing properties . The structure of the prepared thin films was characterized at room temperature using X-ray diffraction. The results showed that all the undoped and doped (In2O3:Eu)samples are polycrystalline in structure and nearly stoichiometric.
