Adsorption capacity of a waste biomass, date stones, for phenolic compounds such as phenol (Ph) and p-nitro phenol (PNPh) was investigated. The characteristics of such waste biomass were determined and found to have a surface area and iodine number of 495.71 m²/g and 475.88 mg/g, respectively. The effects of temperature, initial sorbate concentration, and contact time on the adsorption process were studied. Experimental equilibrium data for adsorption of Ph and PNPh on date stones were analyzed by the Langmuir, Freundlich and Sips isotherm models. The results show that the best fit was achieved with the Sips isotherm equation with maximum adsorption capacities of 147.09 and 179.62 mg/g for Ph and PNPh, respectively. The kinetic data were fitted to pseudo-first order, pseudo-second order and intraparticle diffusion models, and was found to follow closely the pseudo-second order model for both Ph and PNPh. The calculated thermodynamic parameters, namely AG, AH, and AS showed that adsorption of Ph and PNPh onto date stones was spontaneous and endothermic under examined conditions.
The research aims to understand the psychological status of and the feeling of loneliness of the trainees (recently released detainees) participating in the training and rehabilitation courses held in the Technical College - Baghdad. The study was conducted on a specimen of (23) trainees. An open questionnaire was adopted which included one question that was ( What was your feeling psychologically and socially before taking part in the training course?) , also the feeling of loneliness Scale , designed by ( Russel,Peplau, Cutrona /University of California Los Angeles ) was implemented after the courses .

He showed that they were created in man by force, and that he was their original creator, and that they were among the creatures of the God Almighty God like others, but they are attributed to man through acquisition. So to the first saying went Jahmiyya or Jabariyya, and to the second saying went to fatalism in the past, and the existentialists shared with them in the modern era, and to the third saying went to the Sun

Mucosal ulcers associated with the onset of ulcer are manifested by an increase in proinflammatory cytokine, excessive prostaglandin, and up-regulation of Endothilin-1 level, which directly impacts the release of leptin. These, released locally within mucosal tissues, have played a role in controlling the extent of local inflammatory responses and processes of mucosal repair.
This study was designed to find out the correlation of plasma leptin and prostaglandin levels as a possible mechanism of oral ulcer formation as an adverse effect of nicorandil. The effect of nicorandi
An advertisement is a human activity as old as human societies. As it was practiced by each society in accordance with the circumstances of the times and the means of communication available. The evolution of advertisement in the modern era reflected many factors to become an essential part of the lives of individuals in the world. Background: Dental implant considers a unique treatment option for the replacement of missing dentition. The new trend of implants is looking for materials which accelerate bone formation in bone implant interface and enhance osseointegration to provide immediate loading directly after placement and decrease the time period which is disturbs patients and uncomfortable. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of nano zirconium oxide (ZrO2) and nano hydroxyapatite (Hap) mixture coating of screw shaped commercially pure titanium (cpTi) implants on bond strength at the bone implant interface with torque removal test and histological analysis in comparison with non coated implants. Materials and methods: Forty screws were machined from c

This study was aimed to isolate and identify Saccharomyces boulardii from Mangosteen fruits (Garcinia mangostana L.) by traditional and molecular identification methods To get safe and healthy foods probiotics for use, The isolates and two commercial strains were subjected to cultural, morphological and biochemical tests, The colonies of the isolates were spherical, smooth, mucoidal, dull and white to cream colour on SD agar media .The shape of cells was globose to ovoid and sometimes with budding, in a single form or clustered like a beehive. The isolates and two commercial strains were unable to metabolized galactose and lactose , Results shows that all isolates were unable to utilize potassium nitrate and not grow in the presence of (
