Thermal Characteristics of Closed Wet Cooling Tower Using Different Heat Exchanger Tubes Arrangement
...Show More Authors

This paper presents thermal characteristics analysis of a modified Closed Wet Cooling Tower (CWCT) based on heat and mass transfer principles to improve the performance of this tower in Iraq. A prototype of CWCT optimized by added packing was designed, manufactured and tested for cooling capacity of 9 kW. Experiments are conducted to explore the effects of various operational and conformational parameters on the thermal performance. In the test section, spray water temperature and both dry bulb temperature and relative humidity of the air measured at intermediate points of the heat exchanger and packing. Heat exchangers consist of four rows and eight columns for an inline tubes arrangement and six rows and five columns for staggered tubes arrangement. According to experimental data, the inline tubes arrangement has a better thermal performance than the staggered tubes arrangement. The inline tubes arrangement enhanced thermal efficiency more than (7%) compared to the staggered tubes arrangement. Furthermore the effect of added packing to CWCT on thermal performance was significant compared to CWCT without packing. Comparing CWCT with packing, it has been observed that the best performance for the CWCT with packing under heat exchanger. It can be watched that the thermal efficiency for CWCT with packing under heat exchanger and CWCT with packing above heat exchanger approximately (28%) and (16%) higher than that CWCT without packing respectively. This study provides correlations to predict heat and mass transfer considering the influences of operational parameters for both inline and staggered heat exchanger tubes arrangement.

Translation is a dynamic and living process that cannot be considered equal to the original text and requires the appropriate structure, language, thought and culture of the target language, and the translator's intellectual, linguistic and cultural influences inadvertently penetrate into the translated text. It causes heterogeneity of the destination text with the source text.

Admiral's theory is trying to help by providing components and suggested approaches to resolve these inconsistencies. In the meantime, in addition to the mission of putting words together, the translator must sometimes sit in the position of the reader and judge and evaluate the translated text in order to understand its shortcomings and try to correct it a

At the conclusion of my research for this readiness, I am ready to show the most important results I have reached, of which I can mention the most important:
Sheikh Al-Safti was a memorizer and jurist, and all the scientific strokes that he left behind for subsequent generations were in the disciplines of Hanafi jurisprudence, and this does not obscure the opinions of the jurists of other schools of thought. But among them: that these lines continue on a group of fatwas for the later in the gold of Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him, and then the books of fatwas usually refer to what is below the evidence.

He has no shock other than the knowledge of jurisprudence; And for this reason, it is due to the fact that the s

The Dissemination of Multidrug Resistance (MDR) and Extensively Drug Resistant (XDR) among Uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) Isolates from Urinary Tract Infection Patients in Babylon Province, Iraq
...Show More Authors

Antibiotic resistance is a problem of deep scientific concern both in hospital and community settings. Rapid detection in clinical laboratories is essential for the judicious recognition of antimicrobial resistant organisms. So, the growth of Uropathgenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) isolates with Multidrug-resistant (MDR) and Extensively Drug-resistant (XDR) profiles that thwart therapy for (UTIs) has been detected and has straight squeezed costs and extended hospital stays. This study aims to detect MDR- and XDR-UPEC isolates. Out of 42 UPEC clinical isolates were composed from UTI patients. The bacterial strains were recognized by standard laboratory protocols. Susceptibility to antibiotic was measured by the standard disk diffusi

The natural ventilation in buildings is one of effective strategies for achieving energy efficiency in buildings by employing methods and ways of passive design, as well as its efficiency in providing high ranges of thermal comfort for occupants in buildings and raises their productivity. Because the concept of natural ventilation for many people confined to achieve through the windows and openings only, become necessary to provide this research to demonstrate the various passive design strategies for natural ventilation. Then, research problem: Insufficient knowledge about the importance and mechanism of the application of passive design strategies for natural ventilation in buildings. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of various models to study drug diffusion for a sustained period into and within the human body. Emphasized the mathematical compartment models using fractional derivative (Caputo model) approach to investigate the change in sustained drug concentration in different compartments of the human body system through the oral route or the intravenous route. Law of mass action, first-order kinetics, and Fick's perfusion principle were used to develop mathematical compartment models representing sustained drug diffusion throughout the human body. To adequately predict the sustained drug diffusion into various compartments of the human body, consider fractional derivative (Caputo model) to investiga
