Background: Moral distress, as one of the most important issues in the nursing profession, can negatively affect the healthcare system. Purpose: To examine the effect of moral distress on professional quality work life. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study a non-probability sampling method used and total sample collected was (126) of ICU nurses. Results: Moral distress, BO, STS, and, CS among ICUs nurses were moderate. Conclusion: Nurses in ICUs suffered from moderate MD which that effected their BO and STS, and the result can be negative effects on quality of care. An experimental model is used to simulate the loss of soil lateral confinement due to excavation nearby an individual axially loaded pile. The effects of various parameters, such as the horizontal distance of excavation, depth of excavation and pile slenderness ratios are investigated. The compressive residual stresses generated by shot peening, is increased in a direct proportional way with shot peening time (SPT). For each metal, there is an optimum shot peening time (O.S.T) which gives the optimum fatigue life. This paper experimentally studied to optimize shot peening time of aluminium alloy 6061-T651 as well as using of and analysis of variance (ANOVA).

Two types of fatigue test specimens’ configuration were used, one without notch (smooth) and the other with a notch radius (1,25mm), each type was shot peened at different time. The (O.S.T) was experimentally estimated  to be 8 minutes reaching the surface stresses at maximum peak of -184.94 MPa.
