Al-Rustamiya sewage treatment plant (WWTP) serves the east side of Baghdad city (Rusafa) and is considered one of the largest projects. It consists of three parts (old project F0, first extension F1, and second extension F2) that treat wastewater and the
effluent is discharged into Diyala river and thus into the Tigris River. These plants are designed and constructed with an aim to manage wastewater to reachIraqi effluent standard for BOD5, COD, TSS and chloride concentrations of 40, 100, 60 and 600
mg/L respectively. The data recordedfrom March till December 2011 provided from Al-RustamiyaWWTP, were considered in this study to evaluate the performance of the plant. The results indicated that the strength of the wastewater entering the plant
varied from medium to high. The average concentrations of the effluent of BOD5, COD, TSS and chloride were within Iraqi effluent standards. The overall efficiency removalswere: For BOD5: 92.1, 90.31, and 92.96% for F0, F1, and F2 respectively COD: 88.23, 87.9, and 87.95% for F0, F1, and F2 respectively TSS: 86.98, 80.72, and 89% for F0, F1, and F2 respectively Chloride: 14.79, 15.37, and 15.31% for F0, F1, and F2 The mean value of BOD5/COD ratio of the raw wastewater was 0.67 as for typical untreated domestic wastes. The mean BOD/COD ratios of the treated sewage from F0 was 0.48, from F1 0.50 and from F2 0.38. These ratios did not confirm with the typical ratios indicating that the wastewaterneeds more treatment
Andalusian literature is a literature in itself that is influenced and influenced, and it did not come out of thin air. Muslim Arabs came from the East to this country for jihad and a desire to live, and they carried with them their beliefs, customs and traditions. They must blend in the new element and its environment, so interference, fusion, diversity and influence actually took place.
It seems to us that the Arabs in the era of the governors in Andalusia (92-138 AH) strived hard to preserve everything that is Eastern. Literature is an oriental model in the content of prose and poetry, but in the era of the Umayyad emirate, we will notice that the environment, the development of ages, and the mixing of civilizations have an effect

Al-Sayegh participation in this war makes him a first hand witness to the atrocities of the trenches and fight in the first lines. This war did not only change his life and world view for good, it changes the nature of his poetry as well. As aresult, war becomes a central issue not only in the poetry Al-Sayegh wrote in the 1980s and 1990s Iraq, but also in the exile.

This research deals with deliberative intentionality in its two dimensions, deliberative intent, direct, and indirect deliberative intent, and deliberative intentionality assumed great importance to ancient and contemporary scholars. The text, relying on deliberative intent as a methodology concerned with the study of language in usage, and the research focuses on direct deliberative intent through (the intent of acceptability, the intent of the presumption, the intent of the informational, the intent of interaction), and the indirect deliberative intent through (the intentionality of the case, the intent of the metaphor, The intent of the communicative impulse, the intent of the allusion,), and these deliberative elements activate and c

B cells have an essential contribution in immune system activation via the production of different cytokines and functioning as potent antigen-presenting cells. Therefore, a drug that particularly targets B cells may represent an ideal therapeutic approach for SLE. Rituximab (RTX), an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody causing transient B-cell depletion, has been used to manage SLE. This study aims to assess Rituximab effects on lupus nephritis (LN) patients when added to conventional immunosuppressants. Twenty four patients, 15-32 years old, with class III/IV/V LN were involved in this study. All were on steroids before lupus nephritis occurrence. They were

The drill cuttings were taken from the southern Rumaila fields which prepared for testing and fixed with 100 gm per sample and contaminated with two types of crude oil, one from Rumaila oilfields with Sp.gr of 0.882 and the other from the eastern Baghdad oilfield with Sp.gr of 0.924 besides contamination levels of 10% and 15% w/w in mass. Samples were treated first with microwave with a power applied of 540 & 180 watts as well as a time of 50 minutes. It was found that the results reached below 1% w/w in mass, except for two samples they reached below 1.5% w/w in mass. Then, the sample of 1.41% w/w in mass,

The estimations of the applied laser power and recovery period in these models will be depended mainly on the diameter of the incompetent vein. In addition, Excel Program was utilized to find the proposed models. A 1470 nm diode laser up to 15W continuous power (CW) was used in the treatment of venous ulcers by EVLA procedure. Following up by duplex ultrasound was started in the 1st week after the first session until the vein is completely closed. The present study concluded that the relationship both between

Incorporation of photodynamic therapy (PDT) with oncolytic virotherapy might be a promising dual approach to cancer treatment. Methods: NDV AMHA1 strain as virotherapy in integration with aminolaevulinic acid (ALA) using low power He-Ne laser as PDT in the existing work was examined against breast cancer cells derived from Iraqi cancer patients named (AMJ13). This combination was evaluated using Chou–Talalay analysis. Results: The results showed an increased killing rate when using both 0.01 and 0.1 Multiplicity of infection (MOI) of the virus when combined with a dose of 617
