Roller compacted concrete (RCC) is a concrete compacted by roller compaction. The concrete mixture in its unhardened state must support a roller while being compacted. The aim of this research work was to investigate the behavior and properties of roller compacted concrete when constructed in the laboratory using roller compactor manufactured in local market to simulate the field conditions. The roller compaction was conducts in three stages; each stage has different loading and number of passes of the roller. For the first stage, a load of (24) kg and (5) passes in each direction had been employed. For the second stage, a load of (104) kg and (10) passes in each direction were conducted. Finally, at the third stage, a load of (183) kg and (15) passes were adopted. Such procedure was in accordance to previous work conducted by the author. The effects of the type of coarse aggregate (crushed and rounded), fine aggregate (river and natural) and cement type (OPC and SRPC) on the mechanical properties of RCC were investigated. The effect of compaction method on compressive strength and indirect tensile strength was also discussed. A total of (26) roller compacted concrete slab samples of (380×380×100 mm) were prepared in the laboratory, Then, the slab specimens are taken out of the molds and immersed in the curing tank for (28) days. Core and Beam specimens were obtained from the slab samples for the determination of mechanical properties. Such properties include compressive, indirect tensile, flexural strengths using one point loading. It was concluded that the compressive strength of RCC using crushed aggregate is higher than that when using rounded aggregate in a range of (15-66) % for core specimens, while the compressive strength of RCC when using river sand is higher than that when using natural sand in a range of (9-26)% for core specimens. When river sand is implemented, RCC samples show higher indirect tensile strength than those with natural sand, such variation is within (7-8) %
Volunteerism is an element included in many human cultures. It represents a positive cooperative act between individuals and groups. It expresses the social value systems. As a social phenomenon, it develops in societies according to innumerous circumstances and conditions. This study uses a functional approach that assumes that volunteering performs six functions for volunteers. Namely, we assume that volunteering (1) creates a sense of protection (2) meets significant cultural values (3) improves professional status of volunteers, (4) strengthens their social relationships, (5) helps them achieve a better understanding of life, and finally, (6) enhances their outlook and self-esteem. The central aim of the study is to discuss these fun

To increase bone–implant connection and provide early loading after placement, implant is stored in different storage medium and treated with UV light. Both of them are applicable methods to increase the bioactivity of titanium and overcome the biological aging. This study was designed to assess the effect of vacuum storage method and air storage with and without UV light treated of Cp Ti implant mechanically and histologically. Materials and methods: Titanium screws were acid etched and prepared in four different modes using different storage methods (air or vacuum and, with or without UV treatment. The implan

The inhibitive impacts of 2-((thiophen-2-ylmethylene)amino)benzenethiol increase with increasing concentration and decrease with increasing temperature. SEM to checking revealed that the alloy surface was quite unaffected and formed protective film on its surface. The investigated

The mathematical expressions of axial velocity, stream function, mechanical effect and increase in pressure have been analytically determined. The effect of the physical parameter is included in the present model in the computational results. The results of this algorithm have been presented in chart form by applying the mathematical program.
The aim of the research is to shed light on the dimensions of the strategic lens and its impact on achieving the pioneer tax performance and represented by the dimensions (strategic direction, growth, pilot indicator, renewal and modernization, efficiency and effectiveness) in the General Tax Authority. The questionnaire was adopted as a tool to collect data and information from the adult sample They are (91) who are on the site (Assistant Director General, Head of Division, First Division Deputy, Second Division Deputy, Division Officer, Division Officer Associate) The statistical program (SPSS) has been used to calculate (the mean, the standard deviation, the correlation coefficient, the difference coefficient, the F test, the

Some of these trends are the development of individual thinking skills, considering the individual differences, and learning basic skills. The five-year learning cycle is one of these models. It is called as five-year learning cycle because it passes through five stages. These five stages are: (operate - discover - clarify - expand – Evaluate), which make the learner as the main axis for activating thinking processes. This can be done by organizing study materials through research, investigation, and identifying concepts by himself, as in learning sports skills that depend on motor performance and teamwork,

The main problem of the study lies in the lack of a clear perception among the study sample about the impact of digital marketing tools on legal liquidity. Legal) of the International Development Bank for Investment and Finance and to achieve the objectives of the research, the method of observation and survey was used in measuring the dimensions of digital marketing. As for banking liquidity, the reports and financial statements of the bank were used as the research sample, as well as the use of the statistical analysis program SPSS in the statement of the relationship The study concluded, in summary, the following: Mar

The results showed that fecundity rate in Saidiya increased with time , so the lowest rate was 65.5 eggs per female in November and the highest was 87.4 eggs in May , the same results was observed for Tuwaitha except a significantly decrease in fecundity rate that was observed in May which was 42.7 eggs , as well as another significant differences between the two regions was observed in March
