Biometrics is widely used with security systems nowadays; each biometric modality can be useful and has distinctive properties that provide uniqueness and ambiguity for security systems especially in communication and network technologies. This paper is about using biometric features of fingerprint, which is called (minutiae) to cipher a text message and ensure safe arrival of data at receiver end. The classical cryptosystems (Caesar, Vigenère, etc.) became obsolete methods for encryption because of the high-performance machines which focusing on repetition of the key in their attacks to break the cipher. Several Researchers of cryptography give efforts to modify and develop Vigenère cipher by enhancing its weaknesses. The proposed method uses local feature of fingerprint represented by minutiae positions to overcome the problem of repeated key to perform encryption and decryption of a text message, where, the message will be ciphered by a modified Vigenère method. Unlike the old usual method, the key constructed from fingerprint minutiae depend on instantaneous date and time of ciphertext generation. The Vigenère table consist of 95 elements: case sensitive letters, numbers, symbols and punctuation. The simulation results (with MATLAB 2021b) show that the original message cannot be reconstructed without the presence of the key which is a function of the date and time of generation. Where 720 different keys can be generated per day which mean 1440 distinct ciphertexts can be obtained for the same message daily.
The concept of Assemblage appeared obviously in Postdramatic works, where a character or a text may stand as an assemblage of potentialities in the sense that it signifies unidentified subjectivity. Assemblages are constituted essentially of heterogeneous elements yet fused without specific demarcations. In order to enjoy the desired productivity at a "smooth pace," the regularities of political and societal institutionalization are disseminated. To achieve this dissemination, Deleuze-Guattari suggest an unsatiated platform of a "Body without Organs' (BwO), where desire escapes identification. Martin Crimp (b. 1956) defines his off-stage characters in Attempts on Her Life (1997), Anne, or whatever the name is, as a 'BwO', upon which

Data on pediatric COVID are rare and scattered in the literature. In this article, we presented the updated knowledge on the pediatric COVID-19 from different aspects. We hope it will increase the awareness of the pediatricians and health care professionals on this pandemic.
With the recent developments of technology and the advances in artificial intelligent and machine learning techniques, it becomes possible for the robot to acquire and show the emotions as a part of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). An emotional robot can recognize the emotional states of humans so that it will be able to interact more naturally with its human counterpart in different environments. In this article, a survey on emotion recognition for HRI systems has been presented. The survey aims to achieve two objectives. Firstly, it aims to discuss the main challenges that face researchers when building emotional HRI systems. Secondly, it seeks to identify sensing channels that can be used to detect emotions and provides a literature review

Two adsorbents, Fe3O4@TTAB and Fe3 O4@SiO2@TTAB, were prepared by functionalising iron oxide and silicacoated iron oxide nanoparticles with the cationic surfactant tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB). NOR was first converted into a sensitive diazonium dye via reaction with diazotised sulphamethazine and then extracted using mixed ademicelle – hemimicelle magnetic solid-phase extraction, followed by spectrophotometric quantification. This paper proposes an algorithm based on hybrid transform (stationary wavelet transform proceeding by slantlet transform); The slantlet transform is applied to the approximation subband of the stationary wavelet transform. BlockShrink thresholding technique is applied to the hybrid transform coefficients. This technique can decide the optimal block size and thresholding for every wavelet subband by risk estimate (SURE). The proposed algorithm was executed by using MATLAB R2010aminimizing Stein’s unbiased with natural images contaminated by white Gaussian noise. Numerical results show that our algorithm co

Show MoreThe feature extraction step plays major role for proper object classification and recognition, this step depends mainly on correct object detection in the given scene, the object detection algorithms may result with some noises that affect the final object shape, a novel approach is introduced in this paper for filling the holes in that object for better object detection and for correct feature extraction, this method is based on the hole definition which is the black pixel surrounded by a connected boundary region, and hence trying to find a connected contour region that surrounds the background pixel using roadmap racing algorithm, the method shows a good results in 2D space objects.
