Recently, important efforts have been made in an attempt to search for the cheapest and ecofriendly alternatives adsorbents. In the present work, waste molasses from Iraqi date palm (Zahdi) had been used as a provenance to produce charcoal for the removal of methylene blue (MB) dye from water. The optimum prepared charcoal was obtained at 150 C, by increasing temperature to 175 C, the charcoal had almost converted to ash. The obtained charcoal have been inspected for properties using scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), porosity and surface area. Between October and December 2018, 27wounds and burn swab specimens were collected by laboratories at Al-Yarmook hospital, and cultured on Mannitol salt agar. the isolate was subjected to Nd: YAG laser in different power (400mJ, 500mJ, 800mJ and 900mJ). In general the laser showed effect on bacterial growth that reach to complete killing, the statistical analysis showed that there is weak correlation between laser at 400mJ with killed percentage. While in 500mJ its exhibit complete correlation with killing percentage, this correlation was decreased with increasing in power to 800mJ and 900Mj.

G. tuberculosa is a newly recorded species from the Caryophyllaceae family for Iraqi flora, collected from the Arbil district from May to August. Morphological descriptions with macro and micro features illustrated with plates and dimensions, the species is related to G. pallida and distinguished from calyx properties, especially the presence of large prominent druses crystals. Some types of the fungus Aspergillus were isolated from some hospitals in the city of Baghdad (Imam Ali Hospital and Sadr General Hospital). The samples were taken by Transport media at a rate of three replicates of each place isolated from samples from different places within the hospital (waste, baths, the sick beds, corridors and room floors) for the purpose of isolating and diagnosing the fungus on the Czapeck Dox Agar media.
