The paper aims at making the Russian reader acquainted with the Iraqi Poet Badr Shakir as-Sayyab, and showing the effect of the village and the city in his soul, the theme which is reflected in his poetry. The following study was carried out to investigate the DAZ 1 gene methylation level and its association with azoospermia in Iraqi patients.
