Background The study covered thirty-three species which grown wildly in Iraq and a comparative study for all kinds of morphological characters were done. Principal Findings The most stable and important taxonomic characters were pointed out, diagrams, illustrations, scheduals, micrographs were also documented. Stamens, nutlets, basal leaves, bracts, bracteoles, calyces, corollas and their trichomes were very important taxanomic characters. n this work, a series of new nucleoside analogues (β-glucose liked to pyrazoline moiety) was synthesized. In the beginning, chalcone [1-3] was formed from the reaction of acetophenone and benzaldehyde derivatives in the presence of sodium hydroxide. Pyrazolines [4-6] were obtained from the reaction of the prepared chalcones and hydrazine hydrate in the presence of ethanol absolute. These pyrazolines were treated with β-glucose pentaacetate to afford a series of desirable protected nucleoside analogues [8-10]. After that hydrolysis of protected nuclioside analogues in sodium methoxide gave free nucleoside analogues [11-13]. These new formed compounds were diagnosed by 13C-NMR and 1H- NMR for some of them and FT-IR spectroscopy.

In this study, two correlations are developed to calculate absolute rocks permeability from core samples tested by Gas Permeameter Apparatus. The first correlation can be applied if K g≤100, the second correlation can be applied if Kg>100. The course of meiosis including an analysis of chromosome configuradon for 27 collections belonging to 8 species were investigated . Meiosis was regular in most species . Tetraploid for B.scoparius L. (new cytotype ) and hexaploid ?'or " Kunth. were re^rted for the first time, cytological findings were supported the view of maintaining the closely related species B.danthoniae Trin. and B.lanceolatus Roth, as distinct species .
