Detection of the Typical Condition of chitinase Production from the Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae S4
...Show More Authors

Five Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated from the ability of chitinase production from the isolates were studied. Quantitative screening appeared that Saccharomyces cerevisiae S4 was the highest chitinase producer specific activity 1.9 unit/mg protein. The yeast was culture in liquid and solid state fermentation media (SSF). Different plant obstanases were used for (SSF) with the chitine, while liquid media contained chitine with the diffrented nitrogen source. The favorable condition for chitinase producers were incubated at 30 ºC at pH 6 and 1% colloidal chitine.

Comparative Evaluation of Alkaloids Extraction Methods from the Root Bark of Punica granatum Linn
...Show More Authors

A comparative study was carried out to evaluate alkaloid antibacterial activity which was extracted from the root bark Punica granatum L. by liquid membrane techniques (SA) and organic solvent traditional techniques (SB). The screening of the antimicrobial activity was conducted by agar well diffusion method against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Proteus mirabilis at three concentration levels (5, 10 and 15 mg/ml). Alkaloid extracts were analyzed by a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. Among the tested extractions, SB showed the highest antibacterial activity against all five bacterial strains, especially at 15 mg/ml concentration. However, all the B type solution

...Show More Authors
Abstract
Cadmium element is one of the group IIB and classified as heavy metal and effects on human health and environment. The present work concerns with the biosorption of Cd(II) ions from aqueous solution using the outer layer of onions. Adsorption of the used ions was found to be pH dependent and maximum removal of the ions by outer layer of onions and was found to be 99.7%.

Lexical Stylistic Analysis of Two ‎Extracts from Tale of Two Cities: ‎A Contrastive Study
...Show More Authors

Since the time it emerged, stylistics, as a field of knowledge which ‎combines both linguistics and literature, acquired a special status in the ‎linguistic arena. Its significance in complementing the meaning ‎delivered by linguistic means has been proven and acknowledged ‎through numerous stylistic analytic attempts of different literary works ‎and in different languages. The question put forward in this paper is ‎whether or not the stylistic analysis can work as effectively on translated ‎texts as it does on the original ones without having the results reached ‎by the analysis distorting the meaning of the original text. An attempt to ‎investigate this question is made herein by conducting a lexical stylistic ‎analysi

Forty-five samples in total there are just twenty isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginousa. Over the period of four months, from January 2025 to April 2025, a variety of clinical samples were gathered from numerous hospitals in Baghdad, including Al-Sader, Ibn Al-Balady, Fatima Al-Zahraa, and Al-Imam Ali Hospitals. The clinical samples of patients with burns infections were included. The Vitek 2 compact and a biochemical test verified that all isolates were cultivated on king A, king B, ctrmide agar, macConkey agar, and blood agar. Using the disk diffusion technique, the susceptibility of P. aeruginousa isolates to 16 antibiotics from various classes was determined.
