ADSORPTION POTENTIAL FOR A MIXTURE OF CHEMICALLY AND THERMALLY TREATED CLAYS TO REMOVE ORANGE G DYE FROM WASTE-WATER: ADSORPTION POTENTIAL FOR A MIXTURE OF CHEMICALLY AND THERMALLY TREATED CLAYS TO REMOVE ORANGE G DYE FROM WASTE-WATER
...Show More Authors

This study examined the adsorption behavior of anionic dye (orange G) from aqueous solution onto the raw and activated a mixture of illite, kaolinite and chlorite clays from area of Zorbatiya (east of Iraq). The chemical treatment involved alkali and acid activation. The alkali activation obtained by treated the raw clay (RC) with 5M NaOH (ACSO) and the acid activation founded by treated it with 0.25M HCl (ACH) and 0.25M  (ACS). The thermal treatment carried out by calcination the produce activated clay at 750oC for acid activation and 105oC for alkali activation. Batch adsorption method was used to study the adsorption of orange G dye onto raw and activated clays. The impact of different factors related to the adsorption process was studied such as: agitation time, clay dosage, solution pH, starting OG dye concentration, temperature and ionic strength. The adsorption process was described by using Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Raduchkevish isotherm models. Thermodynamic functions like change in enthalpy , change in entropy  and change in Gibbs free energy were estimated based on Vanʼt Hoff equation.

Fire Flame Influence on the Behavior of reinforced Concrete Beams Affected by Repeated Load
...Show More Authors

The influence and hazard of fire flame are one of the most important parameters that affecting the durability and strength of structural members. This research studied the influence of fire flame on the behavior of reinforced concrete beams affected by repeated load. Nine self- compacted reinforced concrete beams were castellated, all have the same geometric layout (0.15x0.15x1.00) m, reinforcement details and compressive strength (50 Mpa). To estimate the effect of fire flame disaster, four temperatures were adopted (200, 300, 400 and 500) oC and two method of cooling were used (graduated and sudden). In the first cooling method, graduated, the tested beams were leaved to cool in air while in the second method, sudden, water splash was use

This Study Deals with one of the Assyrian Functions (The Position of Abarraku Minister of Finance). This Position has been Characterized by an important Historical Position in Mesopotamia in General and in the Assyrian Empire in Particular Because of its Role not limited to Administrative Duties related to financial affairs. Rather, the Duties Varied and included Also The military and political, in particular. He who holds this position governs a province, and in studying this position we have Relied on the Assyrian Cuneiform Texts that were Found by the British College of Archeology During its excavations in Nimrud in the years 1949-1962 AD, as it Included these Texts (letters, Economic, legal and Administrative Documents). Efficiency Evaluation of Optical System Includes Different Stop Apertures When Using Relative Moving Factor
...Show More Authors

In this work, optical system with different aperture shapes (circular, square, elliptical and triangle aperture) has been used for efficiency evaluation when the system involved moving factor in ideal case (aberration free). The optical system evaluate far moving object, therefore the image forming at image plane due to point spread function (image formula of incoherently illuminated point object). A mathematical treatment has been used to getting results by Gaussian numerical calculations method. The results show priority of circular aperture when optical system that submits of moving factor.

The use of cold atmospheric plasma in pentostam enhancement as Leishmaniasis treatment in vitro
...Show More Authors

This study illustrates in vitro effect of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) on the treatment of Leishmania. In addition, the study evaluated the effect of drug treatment (pentostam) and the combination treatment of pentostan and CAP at different doses and incubation time 24 h in order to assess the most effective treatment. The duration of the cold plasma doses was 1 min, 2 min and 3 min, while the pentostam doses were 2.5 µg/ml and 5 µg/ml. The combinations therapies included combining the three cold plasma doses with the pentostam doses to test 6 combinations of treated in vitro. The maximum growth inhibition was given by combination treated 46% and 44% for donovani and tropica leishamnia respectively; these results give an indi

The Impact of Mother-Infant Bonding on Periodontal Health Status in the Postpartum Period
...Show More Authors

Background: Mother-infant bonding is an important psychological step postpartum and disturbed relationship may carry dramatic consequences as a psychological disorder which may affect the periodontal health of the mother. The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of the postpartum Mother-infant bonding on their periodontal condition. Materials and Methods: Mothers in the postpartum period with age range 20-35 years were subjected to postpartum Bonding Questionnaire (PBQ). Periodontal health status was assessed by measuring probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level. Results: The mean values of both probing pocket depth (PPD) and clinical attachment loss (CAL) were higher among disordered mothers than mothers with normal

The optical properties of C\Mg, nano-rods produced by the explosion wire technique
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The aim of this research is to study the optical properties of carbon-magnesium plasma resulting from arc discharge with explosive wire technique, where the energy gap of each of carbon and magnesium and the carbon-magnesium bond for three values of the wire exploding current (50,75,100 amperes) was studied. It was found that the energy gap for each of carbon and magnesium decreases with increasing the current, the X-ray diffraction of magnesium and the carbon-magnesium suspension was studied, and FTIR of the carbon-magnesium suspended carbon was studied for three values of the exploding current (50, 75, 100 amperes) and the type of bonds for carbon and magnesium was determined. Balloon Angioplasty in the Treatment of Children With Native Aortic Coarctation: Is Reintervention Predictable?
...Show More Authors

Reintervention after balloon angioplasty is often considered inevitable in children with coarctation of the aorta (COA). The present study aimed to evaluate predictors of re-intervention after balloon angioplasty for COA, with the goal of identifying patient and procedural characteristics that may influence long-term outcomes

: Porous silicon (n-PS) films can be prepared by photoelectochemical etching (PECE) Silicon chips n - types with 15 (mA /cm2), in15 minutes etching time on the fabrication nano-sized pore arrangement. By using X-ray diffraction measurement and atomic power microscopy characteristics (AFM), PS was investigated. It was also evaluated the crystallites size from (XRD) for the PS nanoscale. The atomic force microscopy confirmed the nano-metric size chemical fictionalization through the electrochemical etching that was shown on the PS surface chemical composition. The atomic power microscopy checks showed the roughness of the silicon surface. It is also notified (TiO2) preparation nano-particles that were prepared by pulse laser eradication in e

The Sufi poetry of Ibn Al-Faridh represents a true image of the spiritual  experience, in which he presented the bright aspects of  his experience, and his suffering in it, by formulating it in a poetic form, because the Sufi poetry is the result of an experience in which the Sufi seeks to achieve his goal of reaching the truth, and this is why Ibn Al-Faridh made his poetry a tool for expression on his own experience, the poet reflected his Sufi life in which he moved rhymes and weights.

The poet Ibn Al-Faridh stands as a witness to his making of  Sufi poetry in the service of the purpose of who said, it is the embodiment of the Sufi journey in the stages, and the fluctuation in the places and si
