STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF MAGNETIC FIELD POLES ON THE GROWTH OF Staphylococcus AND Streptococcus ISOLATED FROM TOOTH DECAY: STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF MAGNETIC FIELD POLES ON THE GROWTH OF Staphylococcus AND Streptococcus ISOLATED FROM TOOTH DECAY
...Show More Authors

The study aimed to determine the impact of energy for the north and south magnetic poles on the the growth of bacteria isolated from cases of tooth decay, 68 swabs were collected from surfaces of faulty tooth, the detected of Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermids and Streptococcus mutans for isolation and then diagnosed using phenotypic diagnostic methods and biochemical tests. The results showed that 28 isolates (41%) were S. aureus and 23 isolates (34%) were S. epidermids and 17 isolates (25%) were Streptococcus mutans.

Exposed isolates to magnetic field poles of north & south and two together to see the effect of polarity on the growth and vitality of bacterial isolates, the results showed that north pole has been negative effect on the growth of bacteria, reduce numbers and inhibition growth with varying degrees while south pole showed positive effect in increasing numbers of bacteria while gave poles together moderate effect between the north pole and the south pole

With regard to the impact of antibiotics such as cephalothin, erythromycin, penicillin, tetracycline and novabiocin on growth of bacterial isolates, the results showed that S. aureus was resistant to the most antibiotics, while varied ratios inhibition for other isolates, and when studying the effect of the magnetic field with antibiotic together on the growth of isolates, there was an increase the sensitivity of the bacterial isolates to the antibiotic under magnetic field compared to the sensitivity toward antibiotic alone..

The Effect of Green Training and Development on Sustainable Performance: An Analytical Research in the Ministry of Environment
...Show More Authors

The current study aims to test the impact of green training and development on sustainable performance and explore its effects within and outside the Iraqi Ministry of Environment. The main research problem revolves around the question of the extent of implementing green training and development and sustainable performance in the ministry (What is the nature of the relationship between green training and development and sustainable performance in the ministry?). To clarify the relationship between the research variables, two main hypotheses were formulated along with sub-hypotheses. The study also aims to assess the level of the ministry's interest in the research variables and provide key recommendations to enhance sustainable performan

The Effect of Spraying with Plant Extracts on Some Growth Characteristics and Active Ingredients of Basil Plant
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Basil (Ocimum basilicum L.), a leafy plant used for fresh food, medicinal purposes, and aromatic purposes (including the extraction of volatile essential oil and active compounds), was the subject of a worker experiment at the College of Education for Pure Sciences Ibn Al-Haitham / University of Baghdad during the 2023 growing season. The experiment aimed to determine the effects of spraying the basil plant’s vegetative system with aqueous extracts of watercress and parsley on the plant’s growth characteristics and the production of active compounds. The experiment included two factors, the first factor, the aqueous extract of the watercress plant in three concentrations (0, 5, 10
... Show More

The effect of changing the exchange rate in bank loans : Applied research on a sample of Iraqi commercial banks
...Show More Authors

Abstract

The aim of the research is to measure the effect of changing the exchange rate on bank loans, and in order to achieve this goal, the (official exchange rate) was chosen as an independent variable and its effect was studied on the dependent variable, which is bank credit. Commercial Gulf, Baghdad, A Shore International for Investment (and the financial indicators (growth rate of loans) and the statistical program (Eviews 12) were used to measure the impact of the exchange rate change on the bank credit of banks, the research sample for the period 2012-2022, and the research reached a group Among the conclusions, the most important of which is that the

Thermodynamic and Kinetic Study of the Adsorption of Pb (II) from Aqueous Solution Using Bentonite and Activated Carbon
...Show More Authors

The adsorption of Pb(II) ions onto bentonite and activated carbon was investigated. The effects of pH, initial adsorbent dosage, contact time and temperature were studied in batch experiments. The maximum adsorption capacities for bentonite and activated carbon were 0.0364 and 0.015 mg/mg, respectively. Thermodynamic parameters such as Gibbs free energy change, Enthalpy change and Entropy change have been calculated. These thermodynamic parameters indicated that the adsorption process was thermodynamically spontaneous under natural conditions and the adsorption was endothermic in nature. Experimental data were also tested in terms of adsorption kinetics, the results showed that the adsorption processes followed well pseudo second- order

The Impact of Osteoporosis on Teeth Decay in relation to Salivary Vitamin D among Menopause in Baghdad city, Iraq
...Show More Authors

Background: Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disorder that has an impact on general health, dental health and salivary composition. The mineralization of teeth happens simultaneously with that of the skeleton, but if mineral metabolism is disrupted, tooth failures will resemble those that affect bone tissue. Vitamin D plays a key role in bone and tooth mineralization.

Objective: to evaluate the impact of osteoporosis on teeth decay in relation to salivary vitamin D among menopause in Baghdad city.

Subjects and Methods: This study was cross sectional study. The study group consists of

A 980nm Diode Laser Clot Formation of the Rabbit’s Dental Sockets after Teeth Extraction
...Show More Authors

The aim of this research work is to evaluate the use of 980 nm diode laser in clotting the blood
in the bone socket after tooth extraction. The objective is to prevent possible clot dislodgement which is
a defect that may lead to possible infection. A number of rabbits were irradiated using 980nm CW mode
diode laser, 0.86W power output for 9s and 15s exposure time. The irradiated groups were studied
histopathologically in comparison with a control group. Results showed that laser photothermal
coagulation was of benefit in minimizing the possibility of the incidence of postoperative complications.
The formation of the clot reduces the possibility of bleeding and infection.
