Background: Hemorrhoids are one of the most
common surgical conditions .Conventional
haemorrhoidectomy was the traditional operation for
the treatment of hemorrhoids. Other modalities of
treatment had been used as an alternative operations
including CO2 laser haemorrhoidectomy.
Objectives: To determine the outcome of treatment
of hemorrhoids by using CO2 laser
haemorrhoidectomy and its advantages over
conventional surgery
Methods: This is a retrospective comparative
interventional study of 1024 case of third degree
haemorhoids selected out of 1300 case of
hemorrhoids of different degrees, admitted to
ALKINDY, ALYERMOUK teaching hospitals and
ABD ALMAGEED private hospital, from May 1998
to July 2002,they were treated by CO2 laser
haemorrhoidectomy and conventional surgery. They
are divided into 2 groups randomly, 512 cases treated
by CO2 laser (group A), 512 cases treated by
conventional surgery (group B). Both groups were
studied regarding operative time, hospital stay,
healing time, post operative complications and cost
effectiveness.
Results: In GROUP A, the operative time ranged
from 10 to 20 minutes with an average of 13 minutes.
The hospital stay ranged from 4 to 12 hours with a
mean time of 10 hours as all cases were treated as
day cases. Post operative pain was minimal in 50% of
patients and required simple analgesia for treatment
while 50% had no pain. Bleeding occurred in less
than 1% of cases, anal stenosis 3.3%, Infection
recorded in 0.58% of patients. In GROUP B, The
operative time ranged from 15 to 25 minutes with an
average time of (19) minutes, hospital stay ranged
from 24 to 48 hours with a mean time of 28 hours
.Post operative pain recorded in all the patients
(100%) and required narcotic analgesia for treatment,
25 patients (4.8%) had varying degrees of bleeding,
40 patients (7.8%) had infection, 25 patients (4.8%)
had anal stenosis. In group A due to shorter hospital
stay, earlier healing of wounds, earlier return to work
which was within 7 to 10 days, the surgical treatment
proved to be cost effective
Fencing sport coaches seek fencers who have high velocity and work hard to develop it through training. The research problem lies on when measuring movement abilities through some tests. Manual measurement does not give reasonable impartiality of timing because there is a time-frame between the movement of the fencer and the speed of the movement of the human time setter. Therefore, the authors sought to design an electronic vest to evaluate movement abilities in foil fencers. The study design was experimental, with 12 Iranian foil fencers of the national team, who were divided into two equal groups of 6 fencers. Moreover, there were 12 students from Physical Education and Sport Sciences that worked on the scientific f

This research sheds light on how press advertising affects consumer behavior and draws attention to it by identifying the factors that influence the intellectual perception process or attention to it. The aim of the research was to identify the factors that help achieve the objectives of the press announcement. The aim of the research was to identify the factors that help to achieve the objectives of the press announcement. The research problem was identified in four questions that were answered through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of students of College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad. This study deals with the aircraft wing analysis (numerical and experimental) which subjected to fatigue loading in order to analyze the aircraft wing numerically by using ANSYS 15.0 software and experimentally by using loading programs which effect on fatigue test specimens at laboratory to estimate life of used metal (aluminum alloy 7075-T651) the wing metal and compare between numerical and experimental work, as well as to formulate an experimental mathematical model which may find safe estimate for metals and most common alloys that are used to build aircraft wing at certain conditions. In experimental work, a (34) specimen of (aluminum alloy 7075-T651) were tested using alternating bending fatigue machine rig. The t

Objectives: Our study aims to prove a sensorineural component in hearing loss in patients suffering from CSOM , which necissates early detection as it increases in severity with time.
Methods: A prospective study was done on 64 patients, all were diagnosed as having unilateral CSOM, their ages ranged from 18-40 years to exclude presbyacusis as a cause of sensorineural deafness.
These patients were divided into 4 groups according to the duration of discharge and further divided into 3 groups according to the pathology (simple perforation, granulation tissu
Find taught dimension aesthetic in the formation of post-modernism, which is one of the themes of aesthetics in the stream of postmodernism, is problematic because of the lack of provisions and fixed values reinforce the concept of beauty, and put done technical plastic in the circle of evaluation and judgment aesthetic, this research as an attempt to reveal the aesthetic concepts that can be drawn from artistic experiments in the formation of post-modernism, through the development of those concepts viable mainstream.
Search contains four chapters: the first chapter includes a general approach to the research, has been showcasing the research problem and the importance of research and goal of Search: detection dimension aesthetic in
In this paper, a discussion of the principles of stereoscopy is presented, and the phases
of 3D image production of which is based on the Waterfall model. Also, the results are based
on one of the 3D technology which is Anaglyph and it's known to be of two colors (red and
cyan).
A 3D anaglyph image and visualization technologies will appear as a threedimensional
by using a classes (red/cyan) as considered part of other technologies used and
implemented for production of 3D videos (movies). And by using model to produce a
software to process anaglyph video, comes very important; for that, our proposed work is
implemented an anaglyph in Waterfall model to produced a 3D image which extracted from a
video.
This study examines how multilevel crisis governance under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter reshapes state sovereignty and affects liberty, human rights, and the legitimacy of international governance. Using a structured comparative design and process-tracing methodology, it analyzes the Lockerbie crisis (1988–2003) and the 2011 intervention in Libya. The findings show that United Nations Security Council sanctions and institutional interventions constrain sovereign decision-making through institutional layering, resulting not in the loss but in the fragmentation and reconfiguration of sovereignty. The study argues that this transformation may strengthen human rights protection while simultaneously raising concerns about
