Background: Symptoms related to the upper gastro-intestinal tract are very common. Attribution of these symptoms to upper G. I. T.diseases are usually done on clinical bases, which could be confirmed by Esophago Gastro Duodenoscopy (EGD). The use of such tools might increase the diagnosis accuracy for such complaints. The indications for upper G I endoscopy might decrease the negative results of endoscopies. Objective: To follow strict indications for Esophago Gastro Duodenoscopy in order to decrease the negative endoscopy results. Methods: One thousand eight hundred and ninety cases were subjected to EGD from Feb. 1999 to Feb 2009 at Alkindy Teaching Hospital and Abd-Al-Majeed private hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. A special endoscopy unit form was prepared containing data from patients, clinical complaint, indications for endoscopy request, and the endoscopic diagnosis, biopsies were taken when indicated and subjected to histopathological examination. All these data were studied and analyzed. Results: Out of the total 1890 patients there were 1114 males and 776 females with male to female ratio 3/2, the most common age group ranged from 21 to 50 years with a mean age of 32 years. Upper abdominal pain was the most common indication (30%), upper GI bleeding (27.94%), duodenal ulcer follow up (25.5%). The diagnosis of chronic DU was established in (40.21%) of cases, normal endoscopic results were found in (34.6%), duodenitis and gastritis in (15.2%).Conclusion: The high number of normal gastrointestinal endoscopies necessitates the need to follow strict indications before subjecting the patients for endoscopy.
A polypyrrole‐graphene oxide (PPy/GO) nanocomposite was made chemically using a polymerization method in deep eutectic solvents made up of choline chloride and propionic acid in a 1:2 molar ratio. The purpose of this study is to examine the feasibility and efficacy of PPy/GO nanocomposite in the detection of metronidazole in pharmaceutical formulations utilizing spectrofluorometric techniques. Characterization of the synthesized PPy/GO nanocomposite was conducted using several methods such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), and X
In this present research, new derivatives were designed from metoclopramide skeleton and after studying the effect of these materials as corrosion inhibitors for the carbon steel 45 in HCl solution. Metoclopramide as the starting compound was diazotized with sodium nitrate and concentrated HCl in below 5 oC to afford diazonium salt that coupled in a basic medium with active compounds like 1-Nitrose-2-naphthol and 2-Nitrose-1-naphthol to afforded azo compounds M1 and M2 respectively. The newly designed compounds identify their structure by distinct spectral techniques involving FTIR and 1H-NMR. Also several of its physical properties were determined. These compounds were studied as corrosion inhibitors in an acidic medium at different t

In this study, a novel nanocomposite solid polymer electrolytes (NSPEs) based on poly(ethylene oxide)-lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate (PEO20-LiDFOB) incorporating polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-poly(ethylene glycol) (POSS-PEG(13.3)) hybrid nanoparticles were developed. And also reported the effect of POSS-PEG(13.3) hybrid nanoparticles on the structural, thermal, electrical, mechanical, and electrochemical properties of the (PEO20-LiDFOB) SPE. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry analysis (DSC) and polar

Methods: The study entailed subjecting water samples from Kelantan, Malaysia, to reproduce the natural circumstances that promote the growth of V. cholerae. Subsequently, the samples were contaminated with the V. cholerae O1 El Tor Inaba strain and treated using VPUSM 8. The study employed a controlled experimental design, wherein the samples were divided into three groups, each experiencing different treatment methods. Quantifying the number of colony-

The sample consists of 158 faculty members in five private colleges in Baghdad. The technique used to analyze the data is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The research concludes that the employees retaining strategy plays a vital role in retaining employees and hence maintains organizational memory. The findings and recommendations of this research assure the administrations of private colleges that employees retention strategy play a vital role in retaining its employee and hence maintains organizational memory. The aim of this study is to determine the contribution and participation of educated females in physical activities at the University of Baghdad hall for the years 2011-2016, and to show the factors that influence women's contribution to physical activities at the university by selecting 100 students of males and 100 females' students randomly. During the questioning questions and statistical analysis of the questioning to find out the reasons for the discouraging contribution of the women to the various physical activities and try to find solutions and r

I am studying the research from Maraqid Al-Maaraf book by Harz Aldeen, the book has large members about the persons have graved in Persian Country in the middle ages, there are more than (30) figures in my study, I have studied every figure in this research depending on the sources and references books.
The synthesized ligand (3-(2-amino-5-(3,4,5-tri-methoxybenzyl)pyrimidin-4-ylamino)-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enone] [H1L1] was characterized via fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), 1H, 13C – NMR, Mass spectra, (CHN analysis), UV-vis spectroscopic approaches. Analytical and spectroscopic techniques like chloride content, micro-analysis, magnetic susceptibility UV-visible, conductance, and FTIR spectra were used to identify mixed ligand complexes. Its (ML13ph) mixed ligand complexes [M= Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), Zn (II), and Cd (II); (H1L1) = β-enaminone ligand=L1 and (3ph) =3-aminophenol= L2]. The results demonstrate that the complexes are produced with a molar ratio of M: L1:L2 (1:1:1). To generate the appropriate compl
