Objective; swine flu is known to be caused by influenza A subtypes H1N1,H1N2, H2N3, H3N1, and H3N2, was first proposed to be a disease related to human flu during the 1918 flu pandemic, Iraq face the epidemic of 2009, many patients admitted to the medical word of alkindy teaching hospital, the clinical features were observed and managed according to WHO protocols.
The aim of the study; is to asses some features of morbidity and mortality of swine flu epidemic admitted patients in 2009 in alkindy teaching hospital.
Methods; A total 131 patients with suspected influenza
admitted to Alkindy Teaching Hospital all complain of
fever more than 38c, sore throat with or without cough.
The admitted patients are of two main
groups;a)seventeen secondary school pupils on their
return from US,b)one hundred fourteen patients
admitted from October till end of December 2009.
History ,clinical examination and routine investigations
for all patient in addition to blood samples and swabs
from nose and throat were taken and sent to the central
lab to test for H1N1 by PCR(real time).
Results; fifty three (42%) of our patients found to have swine flu by positive test (real time PCR). It show that there is no relation of age whether young or old to being infected with swine flu or non swine flu (p>0.05). Table 2 also show that gender had no relation to possibility of infection with both non swine flu and swine flu influenza (P <0.05). We found that there was no difference of mortality between swine flu and non swine flu types (p>0.05) and pneumonia are more commonly associate influenza of negative test for swine flu virus (p<0.001). headache is more common in swine flu while chill is more common in non swine flu (p<0.05) in addition diabetes is more commonly associate swine flu than other types of influenza (p<0.05).
Conclusion; This study concluded that mortality in
swine flu influenza is not different from mortality in
non swine flu influenza. Also age and gender had no
relation to possibility of having swine flu infection .
Pneumonia found to be more in non swine flu,
headache associate swine flu more than non swine flu
and chills associate swine flu. Diabetes associate swine
flu more than non swine flu but smoking had no
relation.
Non-thermal or cold plasma create many reactive species and charged particles when brought into contact with plant extracts. The major constituents involve reactive oxygen species, reactive nitrogen species and plasma ultra-violets. These species can be used to synthesize biologically important nanoparticles. The current study addressed the effect of the green method-based preparation approach on the volumetric analysis of Zn nanoparticles. Under different operating conditions, the traditional thermal method and the microwave method as well as the plasma generation in dielectric barrier discharge reactor were adopted as a preparation approach in this study. The results generally show that the type of method used plays an important role in d

This field is not subjected to licensing rounds, but depends on the national effort of Missan Oil Company. The first two wells in the field were drilled in seventies and were not opened to production until 2009. The aim of this study is to study the possibility of using the method of gas lift to increase the productivity of this field . PROSPER software was used to design the continuous gas lift by using maximum production rate in the design.
The design was made after comparing the measured pressure with the calculated pressure, this comparison show that the method of Beggs-Brill and Petroleum Exper

Here lies the importance of this matter to be given more attention in order to maintain the organization competitive position. According to that, The selection of the research title (The Impact of Quality on the Level of the University Service Request) which seeks to measure the impact of service quality on the level of demand, At a time when world&

In addition, to identify the differences in these problems according to gender, marital status, place of study, academic specialization, and GPA. The sample consisted of (491) students. The researcher has used one questionnaire for academic problems prepared by the researcher. The research revealed the following results: There were academic problems among family counseling diploma students at Saudi Universities, the most problems were related to the systems and administrations of the university, then the field training, the buildings, classrooms and campus facilities, then the academic courses, after that the exams, then

According to the calculated results, it is found that the SHF model with these Skyrme parameters provides a good description on the nuclear structure of above proton-rich halo nuclei. The elastic charge form factors of 8B and 17Ne halo nuclei and those of their stable isotopes 10B and 20Ne are calculated using plane-wave Born approximation with the charge density distributions obtained by SHF model to investigate the effect of the extended charge distributions of proton-rich nucl

The foggy approach of the Multi-objective Transfer Model (MOTP) was applied. There are three objectives to reduce costs to the minimum cost of transportation, administrative cost and cost of the goods. The linear membership function, the Exponential membership function, and the Hyperbolic membership function. Where the proposed model was used in the General Company for the manufacture of grain to reduce the cost of transport to the minimum and to find the best plan to transfer the product according to the restrictions imposed on the model.
Background: Extracorporeal Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) is widely used in treating patients with ureteralstones because it is effective, safe, and noninvasive. Based on factors such as size and the location of stones, there is a significant variation in the overall stone-free rate (SFR).Aim of the study: To evaluate the effect of ureteral wall thickness (UWT), stone attenuation, the time fromfirst attack of pain till first session of ESWL and stone/ rib density on the outcome of SWL in the treatmentof upper ureteral stones (UUS).Patient and methods: A prospective study when 127 patients with radio-opaque UUS ranging from 7 to 20mm and treated by ESWL were included in this study. The effect of (stone/ 12th rib) density by KUB, ureter

Knowing the amount of residual stresses and find technological solutions to minimize and control them during the production operation are an important task because great levels of deformation which occurs in single point incremental forming (SPIF), this induce highly non-uniform residual stresses. In this papera propose of a method for multilayer single point incremental forming with change in thickness of the top plate (0.5, 0.7, 0.9) mm and lubrication or material between two plates(polymer, grease, grease with graphite, mos2) to knowing an effect of this method and parameters on residual stresses for the bottom plates. remote flying target. The BEX is optically designed to be suited for Nd:YAG laser of given
specifications. The BEX is modified to be zoom one to meet the conditions of preventing the
receiving unit; i.e the photodetector, from getting saturated at near and far laser tracking.
Decollimation could be achieved by automatic motor, which controls zoom lens of the BEX
according to the required expansion ratio of beam expander
