Background: The physiologic, biochemical and anatomic changes that occur during pregnancy are extensive and may be systemic or local. D. A. Webb (=Amygdalus communis Linn.)   growing in Koysinjaq district, Erbil, Iraq. A short morphological description of this species is presented.
