Bone Cutter Circumcision in Neonates
...Show More Authors

Background: Bone cutter is widely used in the
Middle east area to cut the prepuce during circumcision.

Results :One hundred twenty one male neonates
were included in this study. The mean operative
time (MOT) was 6 minutes, mean time of
healing (MTH) was 5 days, 7 cases (5.9%)
developed early & late complications, 2 (1.7%)
had bleeding, 3 (2.5%) developed infection, 2
(1.7%) developed late complications in the form
of meatal stenosis.
Settings:Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital and a
private surgical clinic.
Aim of the study: To assess the safety of
circumcision using bone cutter.
Methods: Over 6 years period from Jan. 2000
till Dec. 2005, one hundred twenty one male
neonates were circumcised under general
anesthesia (GA) using bone cutter.
Conclusions: Bone cutter circumcision is
feasible with a relatively lower complication
rate and Shorter MTH and MOT.

Phytotoxicity of Salvinia molesta in Diesel Exposure
...Show More Authors

Phytoremediation is one of the methods to remove various types of pollutants from water and soil using plants. Salvinia molesta, an aquatic plant, is chosen in this study to determine its ability to degrade diesel as the pollutant in synthetic wastewater with different diesel concentrations (0, 8,700, 17,400, and 26,100 mg/L) for 14 days. Total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) has been used as an indicator to represent diesel concentration variation in wastewater. Degradation of TPH was 85.1% for diesel concentration of 8,700 mg/L, compared with only 53.9% in the corresponding control without plant. While, acute toxicity on S. molesta exposed in diesel concentrations of 17,400 and 26,100 mg/L was observed and eventually had

Text hiding in text using invisible character
...Show More Authors

Steganography can be defined as the art and science of hiding information in the data that could be read by computer. This science cannot recognize stego-cover and the original one whether by eye or by computer when seeing the statistical samples. This paper presents a new method to hide text in text characters. The systematic method uses the structure of invisible character to hide and extract secret texts. The creation of secret message comprises four main stages such using the letter from the original message, selecting the suitable cover text, dividing the cover text into blocks, hiding the secret text using the invisible character and comparing the cover-text and stego-object. This study uses an invisible character (white space

Objectives:

To determine the incidence, clinical presentation, and histopathologic types of CRP in Iraqi patients.

Materials and Methods:

It is a cross-sectional screening study conducted in the medical c

The Concept of Urbanization in Developing Countries
...Show More Authors

The population density witnessed by the capital, Baghdad, due to successive wars and unemployment, is linked to the phenomenon of urbanization, which is a global phenomenon that means the increasing tendency of the rural population to reside in cities (urban), especially concentration in the capital, Baghdad. Therefore, the phenomenon of urbanization is associated with 3 terms: migration, countryside, and city. Migration is when a person or a group leaves their place of residence to move to live in another place with the intention of staying in the new place for a long time. As for the countryside: they are the areas surrounding cities usually, and the countryside is characterized by natural and agricultural areas and is considered an outle

New Local Function in Grill Topological Spaces
...Show More Authors

This Paper introduces a new local function ϕSζ∗ in a Grill topological space (Ẋ, ζ, τ) by using a semi open set, which is a superset of the local function ϕζ. Additionally, two equivalent operators, Ψs and ΓS that define topology τSζ, were devised based on ϕSζ∗, along with the presentation of various characteristics and properties ofϕ∗Sζ and the two equivalent operators, Ψs and ΓS. Additionally, newly created sets with weakly open properties (ϕSζ∗.open,ζ s.α-open, ζ s.pre.open, ζ s.semi.open) were established and their interrelations were proofed and diagrams that illustrate the relationship between them. For speed and accuracy of completing counterexamples, creating a computer program with original codes we
