AbstractBackground:Reduced glomeular filtration rate isassociated with increasedmorbidity in patientswith coronary arterydisease.Objectives :To analyze the declining eGFR andmortality risks in a patients with Chronic KidneyDisease and have had Coronary Artery Diseaseincluding risk factors .Patientsand Methods:The study included (160)patientsbetween the ages of 16 and 87years.Glomerular filtration rate was estimated (eGFR)using the Modification of Diet in Renal Diseaseequationand was categorized in the ranges<60 mL· min−1 per 1.73 m2and≥ 60 ml/min/1.73 m2.Baseline risk factors were analyzed by category ofeGFR,.The studied patients in emergencydepartment, were investigatedusing Coxproportional hazard models adjusting for traditionalrisk factors.Results:The study included (106) male (54)and female (52) between the ages of 16 and87Years mean age (54.9±15.2).The eGFR dataare calculated for all randomized studiedPatientseGFR <60ml/min/1.73 m287 (82%),and group of patients with eGFR ≥60ml/min/1.73 m219(18%). Overall there was(44) death 42% mortality risk. Patients witheGFR≥60 ml/min/1.73m219(18%), positivehistory of (CAD) is 3 (15.8%) and negativehistory of (CAD) is16 (84.2%, P=0.0001).group with reduced eGFR <60 ml/min/1.73 m2and positive history of (CAD) 42(48.2%), andwith negative history is 45(51.8%). In eGFR≥60ml/min/1.73 m2group and positive historyof (CAD), the mortality rate is2 (10.5%) and innegative history (CAD) group is 17 (89.5%)Conclusion:This study concluded that impaired GFR,in an adult population, is independentlyassociated with significant levels of increasedrisk of mortality of fatal and nonfatal coronaryevents ,e GFR change over time addsprognostic information to traditional mortalityrisk predictors among patients withchronic
In this study, thermal characteristics of a two-phase closed heat pipe were investigated experimentally and theoretically. A two-phase closed heat pipe (copper container, Fluorocarbon FC-72 (C6F14) working fluid) was fabricated to examine its performance under the effect of input heat flux range of 250–1253 W/m2 , 70% fill charge ratio and various tilt angles. The temperature distribution along the heat pipe, input heat to evaporator section, and output heat from condenser were monitored. In this paper we present a method to analyze five types with fifteen wavelet families for eighteen different EMG signals. A comparison study is also given to show performance of various families after modifying the results with back propagation Neural Network. In this study, investigations of structural properties of n-type porous silicon prepared by laser assisted-electrochemical etching were demonstrated. The Photo- electrochemical Etching technique, (PEC) was used to produce porous silicon for n-type with orientation of (111). X-ray diffraction studies showed distinct variations between the fresh silicon surface and the synthesized porous silicon surfaces. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis was used to study the morphology of porous silicon layer. In recent years, the need for Machine Translation (MT) has grown, especially for translating legal contracts between languages like Arabic and English. This study primarily investigates whether Google Translator can adequately replace human translation for legal documents. Utilizing a widely popular free web-based tool, Google Translate, the research method involved translating six segments from various legal contracts into Arabic and assessing the translations for lexical and syntactic accuracy. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Campylobacter coli was extracted using digestive enzyme and hot phenol water method. Anti-LPS was prepared by injecting rabbits with different concentration of LPS. The result showed that the titer of anti-LPS antibodies using precipitation test is 40, the result also showed Histopathological effect of partial pure LPS.
