Background The study covered thirty-three species which grown wildly in Iraq and a comparative study for all kinds of morphological characters were done. Principal Findings The most stable and important taxonomic characters were pointed out, diagrams, illustrations, scheduals, micrographs were also documented. Stamens, nutlets, basal leaves, bracts, bracteoles, calyces, corollas and their trichomes were very important taxanomic characters. The trichomes were variable in variable species therefore used as a diagnostic characters for the species.     A survey conducted at Dalmaj marsh, Al-Diwaniya Province during 2013 revealed that the marsh encounters a considerable part of the Iraqi vertebrate fauna including 147 species belonging to five classes; Pisces, Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves and Mammalia. Some species are of globally conservation importance. The present results are discussed with the pertinent literature.

This research is dedicated to study Al-Ra’ee Al-Numayri, a distinctive poetic character, to find out the most important (artistic) pre-Islamic features that contributed to its formation. It is further dedicated to know the influence of these features on his literature in the literary arena. After surveying his poetic texts and reading them according to the analytical and investigative methods, the art of the researcher was limited to the  field of  traditionalists. This research aims to identify the level of Voluntary work among university students, and explore the statistical differences of voluntary work among students due the gender and major. A total of (400) male and female student from morning study were selected as a sample to achieve the research's objectives. Al-Malaki (2010) scale was adopted to collect the required data. The results revealed that men take massive part in voluntary work than women, and students of human sciences showed significant differences than those of other majors.   

The current research aims to identify the self-regulation of university students, as well as to identify the significance of the difference in self-regulation according to the variable of sex (male-female), specialization (scientific-human), and grade (first-fourth).
