Assessment of efficacy and safety of dapsone gel 5% in the treatment of acne vulgaris
...Show More Authors

ABSTRACTBackground : Acne vulgaris is a
common skin disease, affecting more than 85% of
adolescents and often continuing into adulthood.
People between 11 and 30 years of age and up to
5% of older adults. For most patients acne remains
a nuisance with occasional flares of unsightly
comedones, pustules and nodules. For other less
fortunate persons, the sever inflammatory response
to Propionibacterium acnes (P.acnes) results in
permanent
Methods: Disfiguring scars. (1, 2) Stigmata of sever
acne cane lead to social ostracism, withdrawal
from society and severe psychologic
depression (1-4).
Result Pathogenesis of acne Traditionally, acne
has been thought of as a multifactorial disease of
the folliculosebaceous unit, involving excess
sebum production, abnormal follicular
hyperkeratinization, overgrowth of
Propionibacterium acnes, and inflammation (Fig
2). Recent laboratory and clinical investigations
into the roles of the innate immune system and
extracellular matrix remodeling proteins have shed
additional light on this pathogenetic process (5-7).
Role of androgens: Activity of type 1 5areductase
enzyme was shown to predominate in
human sebaceous glands and epidermis. This
enzyme is responsible for the conversion of
testosterone to the more potent androgen,
dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT in turn is thought
to mediate androgen dependent skin diseases such
as acne, hirsutism and androgenetic alopecia (13)
The enzyme 5a-reductase type 1 has been studied
in those with and without acne and it has been
hypothesized that those with acne might have more
active 5a-reductase type 1 .(2)
Conclusion : The prominent role of hormones in
the pathophysiology of acne has long been
recognized and corroborated by clinical and
experimental observations and therapeutic
experience (14). Although acne is not considered a
primary endocrine disorder, androgens, such as
dihydrotestosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone
sulfate, and testosterone, and growth hormone and
insulin-like growth factors, have all been
implicated in the pathogenesis of acne (15).

The most famous thing a person does is talk. He loves and hates, and continues with it confirming relationships, and with it, too, comes out of disbelief into faith. Marry a word and separate with a word. He reaches the top of the heavens with a kind word, with which he will gain the pleasure of God, and the Lord of a word that the servant speaks to which God writes with our pleasure or throws him on his face in the fire. Emotions are inflamed, the United Nations is intensified with a word, and relations between states and war continue with a word.

What comes out of a person’s mouth is a translator that expresses the repository of his conscience and reveals the place of his bed, for it is evidence of

The importance of the research from a practical point of view lies in the fact that it presents a set of statistics and data that give a clear picture of how the Iraqi newspapers (the subject of the study) deal with the visit of "Pope Francis" to Iraq ، and what are the most prominent indicators and manifestations of that visit in promoting societal peace among the Iraqi public. From a scientific point of view، the research provides another scientific addition to the media library، especially with regard to journalistic treatments and methods of framing the Arab international press for the subject of the visit، which could be a starting point for other researchers to complete qualitative research in this field. The research prob

Both of them are universal linguistic phenomenon that exist in terms of linguistic system of every language. The present study aims at finding out areas of difficulty that Iraqi EFL learners encounter in the use of synonymy and antonymy, both on the recognition and production levels. Also tries to detect the main reasons behind such difficulties. A diagnostic test of two parts, namely, recognition and production, is designed. The test is built to include two linguistic phenomenon which are: synony

The present work investigates the performance of a recycling solar- powered greywater treatment system for the purposes of irrigation, used to reduce the amount of waste grey water and reduce electricity consumption and reduce the costs of constructing large scale water treatment plants. The system consumes about 3814W per hour and provides water treatment about 1.4 m3 per day. The proposed system is designed to    residential, office and governmental buildings application. Tests are conducted in an office building at the Ministry of Science and Technology site in Baghdad. Laboratorial water samples testing analyses are co
