...Show More Authors

This study seeks to address the impact of marketing knowledge dimensions (product, price, promotion, distribution) on the organizational performance in relation to a number of variables which are (efficiency, effectiveness, market share, customer satisfaction), and seeks to reveal the role of marketing knowledge in organizational performance.

In order to achieve the objective of the study the researcher has adopted a hypothetical model that reflects the logical relationships between the variables of the study. In order to reveal the nature of these relationships, several hypotheses have been presented as tentative solutions and this study seeks to verify the validity of these hypotheses.

For the purpose of application of this study practically on the ground and in order to test its hypotheses Iraq Oil Products Distribution Company has been selected as the study sample and Baghdad Distribution Commission has been used for the questionnaire tool in the collection of data from the field.

The size of the sample included in this study is (53) members of the senior management of the company and the SPSS statistical program has been used for the purpose of conducting statistical processing, and the study have arrived at a number of very important conclusions: -

1-The adoption of marketing of knowledge by the surveyed organization contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of its strategy.

2-The results showed an effective correlation of marketing knowledge in organizational performance and this confirms that the organization of the study sample has sought to achieve excellence in the performance by means of its technical and marketing staff which is able to achieve the desired level of performance.

The Most Prominent Recommendations: -

1- Recognizing the importance of specialization in the field of business, it would be wrong to find many of those responsible for marketing activity holding degrees in such fields as engineering or other disciplines, because there are differences between the field of engineering and the field of marketing so the organization officials should employ people with experience and degree in marketing or make for the lack of marketing knowledge through participating in marketing training courses to improve their performance.

2- Calling on the surveyed company to spread the concept of marketing knowledge among decision makers through conferences, seminars and training programs which aimed at raising awareness of the role played by this knowledge in the process of making strategic effective decisions by the organization, which will be reflected in this knowledge on organizational performance.

Demand Priority in a Power System With Wind Power Contribution Load Shedding Scheme Based
...Show More Authors

The load shedding  scheme has been extensively implemented as a fast solution for unbalance conditions. Therefore, it's crucial to investigate supply-demand balancing in order to protect the network from collapsing and to sustain stability as possible, however its implementation is mostly undesirable. One of the solutions to minimize the amount of load shedding is the integration renewable energy  resources, such as wind power, in the electric power generation could contribute significantly to minimizing power cuts as it is ability to positively improving the stability of the electric grid. In this paper propose a method for shedding the load base on the priority demands with incorporating the wind po

Solidification Enhancement in a Triple-Tube Latent Heat Energy Storage System Using Twisted Fins
...Show More Authors

This work evaluates the influence of combining twisted fins in a triple-tube heat exchanger utilised for latent heat thermal energy storage (LHTES) in three-dimensional numerical simulation and comparing the outcome with the cases of the straight fins and no fins. The phase change material (PCM) is in the annulus between the inner and the outer tube, these tubes include a cold fluid that flows in the counter current path, to solidify the PCM and release the heat storage energy. The performance of the unit was assessed based on the liquid fraction and temperature profiles as well as solidification and the energy storage rate. This study aims to find suitable and efficient fins number and the optimum values of the Re and the inlet tem

Augmenting solidification dynamics in double-pipe latent heat storage: Exploring optimized curved fin configurations
...Show More Authors

This work is to examine the employment of curved fins to boost heat recovery in a double-pipe containment system filled with phase change material (PCM). The study utilizes CFD modeling, validated against experimental benchmarks, to evaluate how various geometric parameters of curved fins affect system performance. Findings demonstrate that adjusting the fin angular curvature from 60◦ to 180◦ yielded a 22.1 % decrease in the time required for solidification while simultaneously improving heat recovery efficiency by 32.0 %. When the fin base spacing was increased from 5 mm to 15 mm, the system showed a 14.5 % solidification time saving and a 20.9 % heat recovery improvement. Furthermore, modifying the joining angle between upper fins fro

Mixed Convection in a Square Cavity Filled with Porous Medium with Heated Bottom Wall
...Show More Authors

Two-dimensional unsteady mixed convection in a porous cavity with heated bottom wall is numerically studied in the present paper. The forced flow conditions are imposed by providing a hydrostatic pressure head at the inlet port that is located at the bottom of one of the vertical side walls and an open vent at the top of the other vertical side wall. The Darcy model is adopted to model the fluid flow in the porous medium and the combination effects of hydrostatic pressure head and the heat flux quantity parameters are carefully investigated. These governing parameters are varied over wide ranges and their effect on the heat transfer characteristics is studied in detail. It is found that the time required to reach a desired temperature at th
