The effect of Analysis of internal environment in the quality of health care service survey study at AL_Elwiya Maternity Teaching Hospital
...Show More Authors

he current research aims at showing the correlation and effect of the internal environment analysis in the quality of health service in AL_Elwiya Maternity Teaching Hospital, researcher depended on the integral method in the "analytical descriptive method" for the study of the relation between the main variables and the sub-variables throughout data collection required by the theme of this study, a case study" in tackling the data and information related to the financial aspects of the internal environment.

The problem of the study was manifested in the essential question, that is (is there internal structure analysis in the quality of health service). The present study aims at the application of internal structure analysis in the quality of health service.

The researcher depended on a number of statistical methods, which are, arithmetic medium, percentile rate, standard deviation to gauge the level of ample agreement and scattering, also such means like Correlation Coefficient, simple linear decline. In order to test the two test the two hypothesis of the study in relation to the effect and the ratio and to diagnose the financial dimension and the reflection of improvement in the quality of health service.

The result of study display and analysis showed a number of conclusion the most important relation and the effect of the internal environment in the internal structure analysis in the quality of health service of the sample. The most important of the recommendations is that Al- Elwiya Mat. Hospital should adopt the modern style and apply them in management (TQC, SIC, and the constant improvement). In order to improve the quality of health service in addition to the management of hospital of the sample  in the factors of internal structure and its effect of the quality.

Oral pre-treatment with Citronellol ameliorates Methotrexate-induced nephrotoxicity in Wistar rats via targeting oxidative stress and inflammation
...Show More Authors

Background Methotrexate (MTX) is a classical folic acid antagonist widely used in the treatment of malignant and non-malignant disorders. However, its clinical application is often restricted by concomitant adverse effects, including renal damage. Numerous studies have highlighted the role of oxidative stress and inflammation in mediating MTX-related nephrotoxicity. Therefore, the current study aimed to explore the possible renoprotective action of Citronellol (CT), a natural compound with prominent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, against nephrotoxicity induced by MTX. Methods To fulfill our objective, 24 adult male Wistar rats were randomly allocated into four groups: control, MTX, 100 mg/kg CT plus MTX and 200 mg/kg C

Association between glycaemic control and serum lipid profile in type 2 diabetic patients: Glycatedhaemoglobin as a dual biomarker
...Show More Authors

Background: Patients with type 2 diabetes have an increased prevalence of lipid abnormalities, contributing to their high risk of cardiovascular diseases (CVD).Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) is a routinely used marker for long-term glycemic control. In accordance with its function as an indicator for the mean blood glucose level, HbA1c predicts the risk for the development of diabetic complications in diabetic patients[2].Apart from classical risk factors like dyslipidemia, HbA1c has now been regarded as an independent risk factor for (CVD) in subjects with or without diabetes. Objective The aim of this study was to find out association between glycaemic control (HbA1c as a marker) and serum lipid profile in type 2 diabetic patients. Methods

The Frequency-hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) systems and techniques are using in military and civilianradar recently and in the communication system for securing the information on wireless communications link channels, for example in the Wi-Fi 8.02.X IEEE using multiple number bandwidth and frequencies in the wireless channel in order to hopping on them for increasing the security level during the broadcast, but nowadays FHSS problem, which is, any Smart Software Defined Radio (S-SDR) can easily detect a wireless signal at the transmitter and the receiver for the hopping sequence in both of these, then duplicate this sequence in order to hack the signal on both transmitter and receiver messages using the order of the se

Some biochemical traits in broiler chicken as affected by insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) gene polymorphisms
...Show More Authors

This study was conducted during the period 1/9/2014 – 1/2/2015 and aimed to identify the polymorphisms of IGF-1 gene in broiler chickens and their effects on some biochemical traits. A total of 300 one-day-old broiler chicks (Cobb500, n=150; Hubbard F-15, n=150) were evaluated in this study. Blood samples were individually collected from all birds for DNA extraction. PCR-RFLP method being used for determination the genotypes of IGF-1 gene which then correlated with biochemical traits studied. Cobb500 broilers with TT genotype had significantly (p˂0.05) higher serum triglycerides values than those of TC and CC genotypes. Low density lipoprotein (LDL) were significantly (p˂0.05) higher in Hubbard F-15 broilers with TT genotype than those

Polyvinyl Alcohol – Sodium Nitrite Water Soluble Composite as a Corrosion Inhibitor for Mild Steel in Simulated Cooling Water
...Show More Authors

The inhibitive action of polyvinyl alcohol –sodium nitrite (PVASN) composite on the corrosion of mild steel in simulated cooling water (SCW) has been investigated by weight loss and potentiodynamic polarization. The effect of composite concentration (PVA/SN) , pH, and exposure time on corrosion rate of mild steel were verified using 2 levels factorial design and surface response analysis through weight loss approach, while the electrochemical measurements were used to study the behavior of mild steel in (SCW) with pH between 6 and 8 and in absence and presence of (PVA) in solution containing different concentration of NaNO2. It was verified that all three main variables studied were statistically significant while their interaction is

Abstract The results showed that after treating C. albicans with Artemisinin (0.104 mg/ml) for 3 hours the number of C. albicans decreased and affected the morphology hyphae and growth of Candida compared with Fluconazole (150 mg/ml) and control (infected mice). The biomarker levels in the tongue showed high levels of MDA and TGFβ (623±1.5pg/ml, 586.1±0.13pg/ml respectively) in (infected mice with fungi). IL-37 was recorded high level (49.21±0.21pg/ml) in (Neoral +Fungi + artemisinin + fluconazole) compared with negative control. The finding biomarker levels in stomach showed high levels of MDA and IL-37 (533.8±1.9, 69.76±0.39pg/ml) in (Neor

PREX proteins level correlation with insulin resistance markers and lipid profile in obese and overweight non-diabetic patients
...Show More Authors

Metabolic dysregulation and obesity are associated with many metabolic alterations, including impairment of insulin sensitivity and dyslipidemia. Recent studies highlight the key role of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-triphosphate-dependent Rac exchange proteins (PREX proteins) in the pathogenesis of obesity, advocating further elucidation of their potential therapeutic implications. The present study aimed to estimate the serum level of PREX proteins and its potential association with insulin resistance markers and plasma lipids level in obese and overweight non-diabetic patients. The study included 30 persons classified as obese, 30 as overweight, and 30 healthy individuals of similar age and gender. The levels of PREX1 and PREX2 were
