Estimation the reliability function of multi state system by using Direct Partial Logic Derivative
...Show More Authors

In this research is estimated the function of reliability dynamic of multi state systems  and their compounds and for three types of systems (serial, parallel, 2-out-of-3) and about two states (Failure and repair) depending on calculating the structur function allow to describing the behavior of the reliability of the system depending on the efficiency of its components. And the researcher estimates the dynamic reliability indicators which in turn describes changes in the reliability of multi state system caused by changes in the efficiency of the components system. These indicators were estimated by Direct Partial Logic derivative

Sampeles:-

(MSS): Multi-state system

(MSSRF) : Reliability function of Multi-state system

Φ(x): Structure function

(SFOMSS): Structure function of Multi-state system

(DRI): Dynamic Reliability Indices

{Gf/Xi}:set of failure states for each compmnent

{Gr/Xi}: set of repair states for each compmnent

(CDRI): Dynamic reliability for each component

(DIRI): Dynamic reliability for complete system

The Effect of Metallicity on the AGB Stars Evolution by Using Synthetic Model
...Show More Authors

Abstract: Stars whose initial masses are between (0.89 - 8.0) M☉ go through an Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) phase at the end of their life. Which have been evolved from the main sequence phase through Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB). The calculations were done by adopted Synthetic Model showed the following results: 1- Mass loss on the AGB phase consists of two phases for period (P <500) days and for (P>500) days; 2- the mass loss rate exponentially increases with the pulsation periods; 3- The expansion velocity VAGB for our stars are calculated according to the three assumptions; 4- the terminal velocity depends on several factors likes metallicity and luminosity. The calculations indicated that a super wind phase (S.W) developed on the A

Influence of the Beam Size Radiation on the Depth Dose by Using 60Co
...Show More Authors

Radiotherapy is medical use of ionizing radiation, and commonly applied to the cancerous tumor because of its ability to control cell growth. The amount of radiation used in photon radiation therapy called dose (measured in grey unit), which depend on the type and stage of cancer being treated. In our work, we studied the dose distribution given to the tumor at different depths (zero-20 cm) treated with different field size (4×4- 23×23 cm). Results show that the deeper treated area has less dose rate at the same beam quality and quantity. Also it has been noted increasing in the field increasing in the depth dose at the same depth even if the radiation energy is constant. Increasing in radiation dose attributed to the scattere

Place dependence as the physical environment role function in the place attachment
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>This research sheds light on the physical environment role in creating the place attachment, by discussing one of the important factors in the attachment creation, it is the concept place dependence, consisting of two important dimensions: the place quality and the place expectation; they contain a number of the supporter physical environment sub-indicators for place attachment. Eight physical indicators were reached; they were found to have a close relationship to the place attachment, including: the open and green spaces existence, land use diversity, diversity of housing types, dwelling / population density, accessibility, transport network development degree, transport multiple mo</p> ... Accelerating Face Mask Detection Training Model Based on Multi-GPUs and Multi-core CPU
...Show More Authors

Modern machine-learning applications require GPUs, and modern platforms can leverage numerous GPUs on one or more machines to increase performance. Contemporary deep-learning models are too huge for CPU or GPU training. Training these models with many GPUs without performance degradation is necessary to train them rapidly and maximize GPU consumption. Thus, training deep convolutional neural networks (DCNN) with multiple GPUs has become necessary for improving training. Therefore, we presented a parallel design and development of an efficient model for enhancing face mask CNN performance and improving resource efficiency. This DCNN model is a parallel training system over multiple GPUs, a multi-core CPU, and a multi-process GPU platform wit

Formulation of approximate mathematical model for incoming water to some dams on Tigris and Euphrates Rivers using spline function
...Show More Authors

n this paper, we formulate three mathematical models using spline functions, such as linear, quadratic and cubic functions to approximate the mathematical model for incoming water to some dams. We will implement this model on dams of both rivers; dams on the Tigris are Mosul and Amara while dams on the Euphrates are Hadetha and Al-Hindya.
