The availability of the internal mechanisms of corporate governance and the Contexts of workof the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of Iraq (BSA (
...Show More Authors

The research focuses on addressing one of the most important concepts of modern management that deal with the relationship between government institutions and stakeholders, Which now occupies a special significance in trends modern management, a concept of corporate governance it takes the internal mechanisms due to its key role and is important in the process of corporate governance and looking for building Effective mechanisms for this concept in light of laws and regulations that are available in the local environment and on the functioning of government institutions, Search has been applied in the Federal Board of Supreme Audit of Iraq (BSA) due to its particular importance as an institution control and as a awaits the society a lot in the status quo, through the analysis of legislative and regulatory frameworks for the BSA and the structures and management practices where, As well as the opinion of the competent authorities of institutional governance in the BSA effective mechanisms available was done by checking the laws under which the BSA and use of the questionnaire to take the views of the sample on the internal practices of the Management BSA, Formed the research sample of 60 people from the departments of the Supreme BSA and their positions was as follows (General Manager, and assistant general manager, and an expert, and President of the Commission, and director of the department).

In light of the results research found a set of the most important conclusions was that "the BSA available has a set of the most important mechanisms of corporate governance such as Board of Directors and is activated through the practices of his roles, in addition to the lack of a mechanism for Control Commission within the mechanics of corporate governance.

Find concluded a set of recommendations, most notably "activation processes disclosure activities and performance of the BSA in the largest by publishing more reports, especially the financial statements of the BSA

Secure E-Voting System Utilizing Fingerprint Authentication, AES-GCM Encryption and Hybrid Blind Watermarking
...Show More Authors

Ensuring security, integrity, and reliability of the election process consider as the main challenges in the electronic voting system. This paper describes the e-voting system by integrating the biometric authentication, advanced encryption, and watermarking techniques towards meeting such challenges. The system employs the fingerprint authentication by utilizing the Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) for verifying the identity of the voter to ensure genuineness and non-repudiation of the service. The vote will be encrypted with the AES-GCM technique to be employed in securing the voting process, thus ensuring both data privacy and integrity. Hybrid Blind Watermarking employs the technique of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) a

Community detection model for dynamic networks based on hidden Markov model and evolutionary algorithm
...Show More Authors

Finding communities of connected individuals in complex networks is challenging, yet crucial for understanding different real-world societies and their interactions. Recently attention has turned to discover the dynamics of such communities. However, detecting accurate community structures that evolve over time adds additional challenges. Almost all the state-of-the-art algorithms are designed based on seemingly the same principle while treating the problem as a coupled optimization model to simultaneously identify community structures and their evolution over time. Unlike all these studies, the current work aims to individually consider this three measures, i.e. intra-community score, inter-community score, and evolution of community over

Butein mitigates 5-FU-triggered hepatotoxicity via antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic pathways
...Show More Authors

5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) is a widely used chemotherapeutic agent, but its hepatotoxic potential poses clinical challenges, as it induces oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis in liver tissue. Butein, a natural chalcone flavonoid that possesses varied biological activity, such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and antiplatelet effects. This study aimed to evaluate the possible protective effects of Butein against 5-FU-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Male albino rats were divided into 4 Groups (of 7 animals each): control, 5-FU, and two Butein-pretreated Groups (50 and 100 mg/kg/day, orally for 14 days) each before a single intraperitoneal dose of 150 mg/kg 5-FU, which was injected on day 14. Serum liver enzymes (ALT and AST), cytokines

Postmortem Panoramic Dental Radiography: Human Identification Based on Convolution Neural Network and Contourlet Transform
...Show More Authors

Human identification is crucial in forensics for the investigation of large-scale disasters such as fires, epidemics, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Even though biometric identification using panoramic dental radiography (PDR) has been the subject of several studies in the literature, further study remains a necessary and challenging issue. In this research, a human identification system was developed based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) and contour transform (CT). The proposed system was implemented on a total of 1540 PDR from 302 individuals. The preprocessing applied to PDRs for enhancing and taking the Region of Interest (ROI). The features were extracted using CT transform. These features were fused with features extracted

Local Scale Displacement Fields in Grains–Structure Interactions Under Cyclic Loading: Experiments and Simulations
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Soils encounter cyclic loading conditions in situ, for example during the earthquakes and in the construction sequences of pavements. Investigations on the local scale displacements of the soil grain and their failure patterns under the cyclic loading conditions are relatively scarce in the literature. In this study, the local displacement fields of a dense sand layer interacting with a rigid footing under the plane-strain condition are examined using both experiments and simulations. Three commonly used types of cyclic loading conditions were applied on the footing. Digital particle image velocimetry (DPIV) is used to measure the local scale displacement fields in the soil, and to understand the ev
... Show More

Sex differences in dentoskeletal and soft tissue profile changes: A 50-year longitudinal study
...Show More Authors

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate sex differences in age-related changes to the dentoskeletal and soft tissue profile between 12-62 years of age using a superimposition-based cephalometric method. Methods: A total of 60 subjects (27 males and 33 females) were followed longitudinally. Lateral cephalograms were obtained at ages 12 (T1), 15 (T2), 30 (T3), and 62 (T4). Of note, 46 angular and linear cephalometric variables were measured using a cranial base-registered superimposition method that corrected for age-related displacement of the Nasion and Sella landmarks. Sex differences in changes between time points were analyzed using independent-samples t tests. Results: During adolescence (12-15 years of age), males exhibited great

Using Target Costing in Implementation Confrontational Strategy Applied study in General Company for Electronic Industries

This research has come out with that strategies made by Porter as generally strategies applicable to any size and type of economic units cannot be applied to many of the economic units in the world in generally and in Iraq especially not a lot of economic units have the resources and competencies that enable them to provide a unique product of its kind in the minds of customers and then adopt a differentiation strategy and not a lot of economic units have the resources and competencies that make them the cost leader. Differentiators and cost leaders are minority in the world while not differentiators and not cost leaders are majority in the world.

The economic units are not differentiators and not c

Developing Faculty Performance Competencies and their Reflection on Achieving Total Quality in Higher Education Institutions
...Show More Authors

Total Quality Assurance Concept have appeared in Higher Education Institutions as a result of the continuous criticism for the lower quality of the outputs of these institutions and their inappropriacy to the needs of the job market. The faculty, i.e. teaching staff member, is one of the most important output for his/her responsibility to achieve the stated goals in higher education. This represents a problem that may influence the construction of society which has to limit his tasks, responsibilities, and competencies that should be found in a faculty, and evaluating his teaching profession in light of the prerequisites of the century to become an input to achieve quality assurance in Higher Education. Therefore, the present study aims
