The added value of the knowledge assets using a scale (VAIC) in a sample of the industrial sector companies
...Show More Authors

The sustainable competitive advantage for organizations is one of the requirements for value creation, which centered on the possession of scarce resources that achieve maximum flows to invest in intellectual capital, if what has been interest in them, measured and employed the way properly and style, so I figured the need for new technologies to enable organizations to measure the intellectual and physical assets and to assess its performance accordingly, so it sheds search light on the measurement of the added value of existing knowledge using the standard value-added factor is the intellectual (value added intellectual coefficient) (VAIC) and to develop a set of assumptions about the extent of the difference between the sample companies that have been picked up from the industrial sector companies trading of its shares in the Securities of the Iraqi market, which offers different products between pharmaceutical and clothes and food, engineering and texture, and to reach a number of conclusions which are summarized from the depreciation of human capital coefficient of Finance and the unit invested in by those companies with capital structural form of a remarkable increase compared to the size spending, The added value achieved through it.

Preparation, Spectra and Biological Properties of Transition Metals ((III) and (II) Mixed - Ligand Complexes with 5-Chlorosalicylic Acid and L-Valine
...Show More Authors

Mixed ligand metal complexes of CrIII, FeIII,II, NiII and CuII have been synthesized using 5-chlorosalicylic acid (5-CSA) as a primary ligand and L-Valine (L-Val) as secondary ligand. The metal complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, electrical conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements and spectral studies. The electrical conductance studies of the complexes indicate their electrolytic nature. Magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed paramagnetic nature of the all complexes. Bonding of the metal ion through –OHand –COOgroups of bidentate to the 5-chlorosalicylic acid and through –NH2 and –COOgroups of bidentate to the L-valine by FT-IR studies . The agar diffusion method has been used to study the antib

The new azo dye was prepared from the reaction of the diazonium salt derived from 3-aminophenol with 2- hydroxyquinoline, then it was used to prepare a series of complexes with the chlorides of cobalt, chromium, copper, nickel, platinum, palladium and ammonium molybdate. The ligand was identified by a proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and the compounds were collected. The prepared materials were subjected to infrared, ultraviolet-visible, and mass spectrometry, as well as thermogravimetric analysis, differential calorimetry, and elemental analysis. Conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, metal content, and chlorine content of the complexes were also measured. The results showed that the ligand behaves in a trigonal b

REMOVAL OF PHENOLIC COMPUNDS FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS BY ADSOPTION ONTO ACTIVTED CARBONS PREPARED FROM DATE STONES BY CHEMICAL ACTIVATION WITH FeCl3
...Show More Authors

Activated carbon prepared from date stones by chemical activation with ferric chloride (FAC) was used an adsorbent to remove phenolic compounds such as phenol (Ph) and p-nitro phenol (PNPh) from aqueous solutions. The influence of process variables represented by solution pH value (2-12), adsorbent to adsorbate weight ratio (0.2-1.8), and contact time (30-150 min) on removal percentage and adsorbed amount of Ph and PNPh onto FAC was studied. For PNPh adsorption,( 97.43 %) maximum removal percentage and (48.71 mg/g) adsorbed amount was achieved at (5) solution pH,( 1) adsorbent to adsorbate weight ratio, and (90 min) contact time. While for Ph adsorption, at (4) solution pH, (1.4) absorbent to adsorbate weight ratio, and (120 min) contact

Examining Metal Complexes Formed from New Schiff Base ‎Ligand ‎Derived from Benzene Carbaldehyde: Evaluation of Anti-‎biofilm and ‎Anti-bacterial Properties
...Show More Authors

One of the most difficult tasks in modern medical societies is the process of identifying a cure for many infectious diseases caused by drug-resistant microbes. Therefore, it has become necessary to discover new compounds that work in this regard. The currently prepared Schiff base, derived from thiazole, has a biological activity against bacteria and biofilms and its activity increases when it is associated with copper, zinc and platinum ions and forms metal complexes. This study highlights the synthesis and evaluation of novel biological compounds as inhibitors of bacterial growth and biofilms. A three newly complexes are resulting from the reaction of a new Schiff base ligand (LC) with metal ions (Zn, Cu, Pt). The new ligand (LC)

Background: Dental implants act as infrastructure for fixed restoration to look like as a natural tooth. Osseointegration is a biological events and considered as a base for success of dental implant. The aim of this study is to evaluate the bond strength between bone and Ti implant coated with mixture of nano hydroxyapatite-chitosan-collagen compared with Ti implants coated with nano hydroxyapatite implanted in rabbit tibia, after different period of implantation time (two and six weeks) by torque removal test. Material and methods: 36 screws of commercially pure titanium; 8mm in length and 3mm diameter , 18 screws coated with mixture of nano hydroxyapatite-chitosan-collagen and18 screws coated with nano hydroxyapatite by dip coating.
