Abstract

were determine the problem of current research to answer the  question on the consciousness of the Ministry of Agriculture to adopt Staffing  strategy and identify the shortcomings  as the independent variable, represented by the three dimensions (recruitment , selection, placement) and its impact on high performance, as  dependent   variable is described  in  four dimensions (leadership, strategy, structure and processes, culture), in this research were  Used  analytical descriptive  style . This research aims to identify the correlation and impact  of Staffing strategy at high-performance in Ministry of Agriculture , To clarify the relationship between the major and minor research variables, it have been formulating  two main hypotheses branched into (6) minor hypothesis , questionnaire has been adopted as a tool in collection  data and information related to research , It has been prepared on the basis of a number of standards-based  use measure of  Likert  quintet is subjected  to the standards of validity and reliability, The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of  (126) administrative leaders working in the Ministry of Agriculture , the use of statistical software SPss,  the most significant a prominent was the correlation and the impact between the  strategy Staffing and high Performance Within the framework of the discussion  of the results ,The researcher offers a number of conclusions , the most important  that the measures being taken in a placement of human resources, is a routine procedure is not active  correctly in terms of making,  As well as a lack of planning to prepare to be hired annually  , Was put  a set of recommendations , most notably the work on the formulation of a strategy for the ministry with a clear vision and specific goals, in coordination with the departments and formations affiliate, As the researcher recommended the ministry must of seeking to develop a culture oriented towards achieving high performance

Improvement of thermostable productivity ?-amylase from local isolate Bacillus licheniformis H14.
...Show More Authors

(28)Bacterial local isolates of Bacillus sp. were obtained from soil samples. Isolates were tested for thermostable alpha- amylase production on solid media; fifteen isolates were able to develop clear zone around the bacterial growth after floating the plates with iodine reagent (Lugol's solution). There were further tested in submerged culture which led to selection of Bacillus sp. H14since it was the most efficient .Microbial and biochemical tests showed that the local isolate Bacillus sp.H14was refered to the species B.licheniformis that signed as H14 was refered to the species B.licheniformis H14 .,To get ahigher yield of alpha – amylase(48.70unit/mg protein) production from the local isolate B.licheniformis H14 . Removal of some brilliant dyes by poly acrylic acid hydrogel beads
...Show More Authors

The current work discusses the removal of brilliant dyes. These dyes were Brilliant Cresyl Blue (BCB) and Brilliant Green (BG) by the use of poly acrylic acid hydrogel beads (PAA). We examined the adsorption isotherms and found that the factors preferring it are temperature and salt, shaking effects, wet PAA, (BCB) and (BG) follows Freundlich equation more than other equations. Based on the results, there is a positive correlation between adsorption of dyes (BCB and BG) and temperature (Endothermic process). We calculated the thermodynamic functions (ΔG, ΔS, and ΔH). The ion strength effects on the adsorptions at (20 °C) increased adsorption if the salt concentrations is high. We treated the kinetics outcomes based on Lagergren Equation

Removal of Cadmium Ions from Simulated Wastewater Using Rice Husk Biosorbent
...Show More Authors

Biosorption of cadmium ions from simulated wastewater using rice husk was studied with initial concentration of 25 mg/l. Equilibrium isotherm was studied using Langmuir, Freundlich, BET and Timken models. The results show that the Freundlich isotherm is the best fit model to describe this process with high determination coefficient equals to 0.983. There was a good compliance between the experimental and theoretical results. Highest removal efficiency 97% was obtained at 2.5g of adsorbent, pH 6 and contact time 100 min.

Iron Permeable Reactive Barrier for Removal of Lead from Contaminated Groundwater
...Show More Authors

The possibility of using zero-valent iron as permeable reactive barrier in removing lead from a contaminated groundwater was investigated. In the batch tests, the effects of many parameters such as contact time between adsorbate and adsorbent (0-240 min), initial pH of the solution (4-8), sorbent dosage (1-12 g/100 mL), initial metal concentration (50-250 mg/L), and agitation speed
(0-250 rpm) were studied. The results proved that the best values of these parameters achieve the maximum removal efficiency of Pb+2 (=97%) were 2 hr, 5, 5 g/100 mL, 50 mg/L and 200 rpm respectively. The sorption data of Pb+2 ions on the zero-valent iron have been performed well by Langmuir isotherm model in compared with Freundlich model under the studied

Detecting genetics of several isolated bacterial species from soils by hydrocarbons
...Show More Authors

The presence of hydrocarbons in the soil is considered one of the main problems of pollution. In our current study, eight samples isolated from soil saturated with hydrocarbons were taken from different areas of Baghdad, Iraq. In this study, 5 isolates belonging to Pseudomonas aeruginosa by 99%, 4 isolates to Klebsiella pneumoniae by 98%, and 3 isolates to Enterobacter hormaechei by 97% were diagnosed in different ways. A molecular examination was also conducted by 16sRNA. We recorded P. aeruginosa, K. Pneumoniae and E. hormaechei as new local isolates in NCBI. In addition, a comparison was made between our isolates and the global isolates to determine the degree of convergence in the evolutionary line. The genes alkB and nahAc7 were diagno

Genotyping of IL13 -1024 (CT) gene among Iraqi Thyoid Goiter patients
...Show More Authors

This study dealt with IL-13 1024 (C/T) gene genotyping among patients with Thyroid goiter in Iraq. Forty blood samples from patients with Thyroid goiter were collected and compared with 30 healthy persons as controls. The genotyping results of IL-13 1024 (C/T) gene using ARMS-PCR revealed presence TT, CC and CT genotypes beside T and C alleles. The T allele and TT genotype frequency were higher in Thyroid goiter patients compared to the same genotype and allele in healthy persons (P = 0.060). These increasing results were related with increasing risk factor of Thyroid goiter (odds ratio [OR] 2.15; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.99–71.4). No significant differences between genotypes for Thyroid goiter patients and controls were revealed by

Rate of Schneiderian First Rank Symptoms among Newly Diagnosed Schizophrenic Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Schneiderian first rank symptoms are
considered highly valuable in the diagnosis of
schneideria.
They are more evident in the acute phase of the
disorder and fading gradually with time. Many studies
have shown that the rate of these symptoms are
variable in different countries and are colored by
cultural beliefs and values.
Objectives: To find out the rate of Schneiderian first
rank symptoms among newly diagnosed schizophrenic
patients, to assess which symptom(s) might
predominate in those patients, and to find out if there
is/are any correlation(s) between the occurrence of
these symptoms and the sex of the patients.
Methods: Out of twenty-four patients with no past
psychiatric hi
