the role of Green Human Resources Management Practices in strengthening the Strategic Positioning An Analytical Research on Leaders opinion in the Nongovernmental Hospitals in Erbil
...Show More Authors

This research is seeks to state the role of Green Human Resources Management Practices and their dimensions (Green Employment and Selection, Green Performance Assessment, Green Training & Development and Green Compensation and Stimulation Systems) in strengthening the Strategic Positioning in the Nongovernmental Hospitals in Erbil city, and aims to analyze the relationship between Green Human Resources Management Practices and Strategic Positioning and to show the impact of Green Human Resources Management Practices in determining the Strategic Position.

It is depended on a questionnaire as key tools for achieving data, as designed on some hypotheses. The questionnaire dividend on (50) people who work in the researched Hospitals which they have the manager, department and unit officer, tested the relationship and impact between research variables for achieving the answers of the research problem by using a group of statistical tools in (SPSS) program.

The research has reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the correlation and impact of Green Human Resources Management Practices in enhancing Strategic Positioning. The research recommends the need for more attention to environmental implications in human resources management practices and to focus on training and developing their green practices while building an integrated knowledge of strategic positioning

Analysis and Control of PWM Buck-Boost AC Chopper Fed Single-Phase Capacitor Run Induction Motor
...Show More Authors

Single phase capacitor-run induction motors (IMs) are used in various applications such as home appliances and machine tools; they are affected by the sags or swells and any fault that can lead to disturb the supply and make it produce rms voltage below or above the rated motor voltage, which is 220V. A control system is designed to regulate the output voltage of the converter irrespective to the variation of the load and within a specific range of supply voltage variation. The steady-state equivalent circuit of the Buck-Boost chopper type AC voltage regulator, as well as the analysis of this circuit are presented in this paper. Switching device for the regulator is an IGBT Module. The proposed chopper uses pulse width modulation (PWM) c

Improved Melting of Latent Heat Storage Using Fin Arrays with Non-Uniform Dimensions and Distinct Patterns
...Show More Authors

Employing phase-change materials (PCM) is considered a very efficient and cost-effective option for addressing the mismatch between the energy supply and the demand. The high storage density, little temperature degradation, and ease of material processing register the PCM as a key candidate for the thermal energy storage system. However, the sluggish response rates during their melting and solidification processes limit their applications and consequently require the inclusion of heat transfer enhancers. This research aims to investigate the potential enhancement of circular fins on intensifying the PCM thermal response in a vertical triple-tube casing. Fin arrays of non-uniform dimensions and distinct distribution patterns were des

Synthesis and characterization of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x thin film composites for NH3 gas sensors
...Show More Authors

This research is presenting a study of optical and structural properties of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x composites synthesized as thin film that can be used as a gas sensor. Pulsed laser deposition technique was used to prepare thin films of (Fe2O3)1-x(MgO)x. The pattern of X-ray diffraction of the composites powder showed the consistency of iron oxide (α-Fe2O3) hematite phase along with the planes (104) and (110) as preferred planes for crystal growth where the intensities of which varied with MgO content. The crystal size of the thin film material was varied in between (26.8-35.1) nm. The diffraction pattern of the pulsed laser deposited thin films was absent from any diffraction peaks. The maximum transparency obtained of hematite

Optimum Proportions and Properties of Foamed Concrete Made with Waste Plastic as Fine and Coarse Aggregate
...Show More Authors

This research aimed to explore the use of foamed concrete (FC), a lightweight concrete, by replacing sand with crushed plastic from washing machines to improve environmental and thermal properties. The primary components included traditional materials like cement, water, and a foaming agent, along with the innovative use of waste plastic (WP). Utilizing Minitab software, the study applied the Response Surface Method to optimize mix designs, reducing the experimental mixtures to 31, which were then tested for dry density, porosity, water absorption, shrinkage, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and thermal conductivity. Results indicated a significant 24% reduction in dry density when using plastic as fine and coarse aggregate
