Relational leadership and its effect on organizational energy (A comparative study in the Rafidain and Rashid banks)
...Show More Authors

This research aims to test the relationship between "relational leadership as an independent variable and organizational energy as a dependent variable. The current research variables are among the recent and important variables for the development of organizations, and for the purpose of explaining the relationship and influence between the variables, a set of goals has been formulated, including providing the interested and scientific and theoretical information explaining the nature of the variables The research, and the extent to which its causes are reflected in the research sample to increase the interest of the research organization’s organization and make it more appropriate to the required performance in light of a changing environment in Iraq. For this purpose, a number of the most important hypotheses were formulated (there is no significant correlation between the Relational leadership and organizational energy) in both banks (Al-Rafidain and Al-Rasheed). To achieve these assumptions, field research was applied through a comparative study between Al-Rafidain and Al-Rasheed banks. The study was applied to a number of general managers and their assistants, department managers, and people managers. The sample reached (111) director or 55 directors for Al-Rafidain Bank and 56 for Al-Rasheed, statistical methods were used, including the arithmetic mean and deviation. The data were analyzed through a set of statistical programs (SPSS, 23 Amos, PPR 2.16.3). The most prominent findings reached by the researcher were that both Rafidain and Al-Rasheed banks have a good interest in work according to the relational leadership factor, but there is a disparity in results between the two banks and found a significant superiority of the Rafidain Bank on the rationale for both variables any leadership relational and organizational energy, especially in the behavioral side.

E2F6 is essential for cell viability in breast cancer cells during replication stress
...Show More Authors

Abstract: E2F6 is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors involved in regulation of a wide variety of genes through both activation and repression. E2F6 has been reported as overexpressed in breast cancers but whether or not this is important for tumor development is unclear. We first checked E2F6 expression in tumor cDNAs and the protein level in a range of breast cancer cell lines. RNA interference-mediated depletion was then used to assess the importance of E2F6 expression in cell lines with regard to cell cycle profile using fluorescence-activated cell sorting and a cell survival assay using (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT). The overexpression of E2F6 was confirmed in breast tumor cDNA samp

Corrosion Inhibition for Carbon Steel of Benzimidazole Derivatives Synthesized in Sulfuric Acid Solution
...Show More Authors

Synthesis three organic inhibitors for carbon steel corrosion: 2-(propylthio)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole (PTBI), 2-(allylthio)- 1H-benzo[d]imidazole (ATBI) and 2-(prop-2-ynylthio)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole (YTBI) were prepared from reaction of 2-mercapto benzimidazole with different alkyl halide. The melting point and TLC were used to confirm the purity of the inhibitors as well as using the [FTIR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR] for the identify structures. The synthesized inhibitors were examined by potentiostatic polarization measurement as corrosion inhibitors of carbon steel in acidic media [1M H2SO4 ].The polarization measurement results showed that the mixed type inhibitors. In addition, the efficiency of inhibitors (YTBI) were studied at different con

BK Polyomavirus-infected Decoy Cells in Urine Cytology Specimens of Renal Transplant Recipients
...Show More Authors

Background BK polyomavirus is one of the common post-transplant viral infections, affecting ∼15% of renal transplantation recipients (RTR), leading to graft loss in more than half of cases. Objectives Study the rate of detection of BK virus (BKV) in RTRs in Pap-stained urine cytology specimens. Methods A single center study, urine samples were collected from 99 RTR patients, with 15 Living Donors (LD) and 15 patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) were taken as controls. And urine cytology smears were Pap stained for detection of decoy cells (DCs). Results Out of the 99 RTRs, 27 (27.3%) patients were decoy positive, 8 out of these 27 patients had uncommon DCs, and 5 out of these 27 cytology positive patients (18.5%) had biopsy proven B

DNMT3B Is an Oxygen-Sensitive De Novo Methylase in Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells
...Show More Authors

The application of physiological oxygen (physoxia) concentrations is becoming increasingly commonplace within a mammalian stem cell culture. Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) attract widespread interest for clinical application due to their unique immunomodulatory, multi-lineage potential, and regenerative capacities. Descriptions of the impact of physoxia on global DNA methylation patterns in hMSCs and the activity of enzymatic machinery responsible for its regulation remain limited. Human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-hMSCs, passage 1) isolated in reduced oxygen conditions displayed an upregulation of SOX2 in reduced oxygen conditions vs. air oxygen (21% O2, AO), while no change was noted for either OCT-4 or NA

Association of Serum Renal Function Levels with Heart Failure Disease in Iraqi Patients
...Show More Authors

Renal function tests are commonly used in clinical practice to look for renal disease, the most common includes the serum urea, uric acid and creatinine. Heart failure patients have a higher incidence of renal function test abnormalities than individuals who do not have heart failure disease. Fifty subjects of adults (male) were divided in to two groups, 25 subjects (healthy) as control (group1) and 25 subjects with heart failure (group 2). Our results indicate that serum uric acid, urea, and creatinine values were significantly elevated (P≤0.05) in patients group (2) compared with healthy group (1). The results also showed, the effect of age categories on uric acid blood urea nitrogen and creatinine values (P≤0.05) and there were no si

Community Detection in Modular Complex Networks Using an Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm
...Show More Authors

Community detection is an important and interesting topic for better understanding and analyzing complex network structures. Detecting hidden partitions in complex networks is proven to be an NP-hard problem that may not be accurately resolved using traditional methods. So it is solved using evolutionary computation methods and modeled in the literature as an optimization problem.  In recent years, many researchers have directed their research efforts toward addressing the problem of community structure detection by developing different algorithms and making use of single-objective optimization methods. In this study, we have continued that research line by improving the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm using a
