...Show More Authors

The present research aims to test the effect of cognitive complexity as an independent variable in organizational agility as a responsive variable among the leaders working at the headquarters of the Iraqi Petroleum Products Distribution Company.

To conclude a number of recommendations that contribute in the organizational agility in the company, and due to the importance of this research in public organizations and its notable role in community organizations. A questionnaire was used as information and data collecting tool, with also the use of statistical programs for testing the hypothesis and to get results (SPSS, AMOS, EXCEL) as well as the utilizing of descriptive statistical methods (Percentages, arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, Coefficient of Variation, Simple Linear Regression, Determination Coefficient (2R), Path Analysis, Relative Importance, and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient). The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the high level of the cognitive complexity variable within the company being investigated. There was weakness and decline in organizational agility. It was found that individual differences in understanding, understanding and manipulating difficult concepts, which have a significant role in influencing organizational agility, sensing opportunities and changes, The ability required at the organizational level to deal with them intelligently and respond effectively to them, and concluded the research with a set of recommendations for the company to contribute to the development of performance and the achievement of organizational goals.

Comparison Between Mechanical and Non Mechanical Bowel Preparation Prior To Elective Colorectal Surgery
...Show More Authors

Background: Bowel preparation prior to
colonic surgery usually includes antibiotic
therapy together with mechanical bowel
preparation which may cause discomfort to the
patients, prolonged hospitalization and water
& electrolyte imbalance.
Objective: to assess whether elective colon
and rectal surgery may be safely performed
without preoperative mechanical bowel
preparation.
Method: the study includes all patients who
had elective large bowel resection at Medical
City – Baghdad Teaching Hospital between
Feb, 2007 to Jan, 2010. Emergency operations
were not included. The patients were randomly
assigned to the 2 study groups (with or without
mechanical bowel preparation.

Free Fatty Acids and Biochemical Changes in Iraqi patients with Chronic Renal Failure
...Show More Authors

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is progressive irreversible destruction of kidney tissue by disease which, if not treated by dialysis or transplant, will result in patient's death. This study was carried out on 30 patients (17 male and 13 female) with chronic renal failure. The aim of this research was studied the changes in the level of total protein ,albumin, calcium ,ionized calcium, phosphorous , iron ,ALP, LDH ,CK and FFA in patients with CRF before and after hemodialysis .The obtained results have been compared with 30 healthy subjects as control group (18male and 12 female). The results showed that there was significant increase in the level of calcium ,ionized calcium, phosphorous ,iron ,ALP,LDH,CK and FFA ,while there was a signifi

Comparison Some Parametric and Non –parametric Methods To Estimate Median Effective Dose ( ED5
...Show More Authors

In this paper the research represents an attempt of expansion in using the parametric and non-parametric estimators to estimate the median effective dose ( ED50 ) in the quintal bioassay and comparing between  these methods . We have Chosen three estimators for Comparison. The first estimator is
( Spearman-Karber )  and the second estimator is ( Moving Average ) and The Third estimator  is ( Extreme Effective Dose ) .
We used a minimize Chi-square as a parametric method. We made a Comparison for these estimators by calculating the mean square error of (ED50) for each one of them and comparing it with the optimal the mean square

Ventricular septal defect in children and adults by echocardiography study in Iraqi patients
...Show More Authors

A ventricular septal defect (VSD) is defined as a communication between the left and right ventricles or between the left ventricle and the right atrium. VSDs are amongst the most common abnormalities of the heart. They can be present in isolation or in association with other congenital cardiac abnormalities. This is study done with the aim to evaluate the types, size, associated CHD with ventricular septal defect in children and adolescent in two cardiac centers (Medical City Complex cardiac clinics, Ibn Al Nafaes teaching hospital) in Baghdad - Iraq

Fibrewise locally micro sliceable and fibrewise locally micro-section able micro-topological space
...Show More Authors

The primary objective of this research be to develop a novel thought of fibrewise micro—topological spaces over B. We present the notions from fibrewise micro closed, fibrewise micro open, fibrewise locally micro sliceable, and fibrewise locally micro-section able micro topological spaces over B. Moreover, we define these concepts and back them up with proof and some micro topological characteristics connected to these ideas, including studies and fibrewise locally micro sliceable and fibrewise locally micro-section able micro topological spaces, making it ideal for applications where high-performance processing is needed. This paper will explore the features and benefits of fibrewise locally micro-sliceable and fibrewise locally
