The impact of the auditor's personal judgment starts from the beginning of the audit process to the formation of the final opinion and the issuance of the report, and because of the possibility of bias in the auditor's judgment for various reasons that may relate to the auditor himself or the circumstances surrounding it, which requires assessing the current reality of the auditor's personal judgments In the local environment and determining their determinations. To clarify the concept and determinants of the auditor's personal judgments when implementing the audit work, prepare the report and determine the role of the international auditing standards in rationalizing the auditor's personal judgment when conducting his audit activity. Implementing the requirements of international auditing standards that require the exercise of personal judgment, which helps the auditor in rationalizing and limiting his personal provisions .But , there are some shortcomings that may be reflected in the auditor's judgment, including the auditor's reliance on his personal experience only in determining the relative importance of the component, as well as the auditor's greater reliance on the internal audit evidence, as well as the fact that the auditor does not use analytical procedures at the end of the process The audit is in the preparation stage of the report, which is a basic requirement of the audit standard 520, which is reflected in the personal judgments taken. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to carry out training activities related to personal judgment and to raise awareness and confidence in it to enhance the expertise of the auditors and the auditor to collect more relevant internal and external information before taking personal judgment as well as guidelines and instructions to improve the ability to exercise personal judgment. With regard to carrying out analytical procedures near the end of the audit process, and relying more on external audit evidence.
The proliferation of manipulated multimedia content poses a significant threat in an era heavily reliant on social networks as primary information sources. Despite numerous countermeasures targeting specific attack types, the seamless nature of image manipulation challenges the differentiation between authentic and altered visuals. This study aims to detect fake images generated by StyleGAN2-ADA using watermark analysis and image content analysis techniques. The first experiment evaluates the performance of watermarking techniques in the spatial (Least Significant Bit (LSB)) and frequency (Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)) domains using real-life imagery. Then, watermarked images are used as input to the StyleGAN2-ADA model to genera

Show MoreDesigning high-performance solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) remains a key challenge, primarily due to their inherently low ionic conductivity, which hampers the advancement of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries (ASSLiBs). In this work, we address this limitation by developing a green, crosslinked polymer blend comprising carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) - extracted and functionalized from palm frond fibers - and poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA). Citric acid (CA) was utilized as a crosslinking agent, while lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) was incorporated as a dopant to enhance ionic conductivity. The SPE membranes were fabricated via solution casting, with the optimized formulation - designated CP-15X-Li25 - containing 15 wt.-% CA and 25 wt.-% LiClO

Longitudinal evidence examining the combined influence of these behaviors on weight status in Iraqi universities remains limited. Objective: This study examined six-month longitudinal associations of physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep duration, and perceived stress with body mass index and percentage body fat among Iraqi university students. Methods: A prospective multi-behavioral study was conducted at six public universities in Iraq. Six hundred undergraduate students aged 18–25 years were followed monthly during one academic semester. Validated questionn

Among the significant challenges that demand immediate resolution, effective treatment of industrial pollutants stands out prominently, which for decades has been the focus of most researchers for sustainable industrial development aiming to remove those pollutants and recover some of them. The liquid membrane (LM) method, specifically electromembrane extraction (EME), offers promise. EME deploys an electric field, reducing extraction time and energy use while staying eco-friendly. However, there's a crucial knowledge gap. Despite strides in understanding and applying EME, optimizing it for diverse industrial pollutant

The nature of the complexes formed in ethanolic solution has been studied following the molar ratio method also was studied stability constant and found to be stable in molar ratio1:1 of VL (IV) and CoL(II) while Pt(IV), Au(III) and Rh(III) complexes stable in molar ratio 1:2 as well as the molar absorptivity for these complexes were calculated. The method involves CPM reacting with sodium nitroprusside (Nitropress) to produce a pale white precipitate. The NAG-SSP-5S1D analyzer was used to measure turbidity at 0°–180° angle to detect the attenuation of incident light as a result of collision on the surfaces of the precipitate particles. The linear range of CPM measurements was between 0.008 and 11 m.mol/L, with correlation coefficient of 0.9983 and R2% = 99.65. The limit of detection was determined to be 0.0328 µg/sample from the lowest concentration in the calibration curve, and the repeatability of the method (RSD%) was less than 0.4% (n = 6

The study aims at identifying the difficulties faced by the Iraqi university EFL learners in comprehending English breaking news. The study included 10 fourth year students enrolled at the Department of English, College of Education for Humanities, University of Anbar. Thus, a questionnaire as a research instrument, was sent online to the students. The questionnaire points were related to the identification of difficulties faced by the learners in comprehending English breaking news. The data of the study were (10) headlines selected purposively from Euronews website. The data were qualitatively analyzed based on quantifying the qua
