Impact of Manager Roles in Achieving Organizational Excellence
...Show More Authors

The current research problem is focused on the level of human resource managers' performance of their contemporary roles and the impact of this on achieving organizational excellence. The research aims at diagnosing and interpreting the nature of the relationship between the roles of human resource manager and organizational excellence. ), And oil companies located in Baghdad governorate. The research included (boards of directors), and collected data from (83) respondents representing the research community exclusively and comprehensively

represented in the positions of function (Directors-General, Associate Directors-General, heads of departments, divisions and divisions). (49) questions, as well as the method of personal interview to support the results of the questionnaire and achieve the greatest realism in the collection of information, and sought to test a number of the main hypotheses derived from sub-hypotheses to see the relationship of correlation and influence between the variables of research, The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which was the existence of a significant correlation between HR roles and organizational excellence, as well as a significant relationship of influence to the role of human resource manager in organizational excellence. To discuss the results of the development of a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need for companies to provide support and support to human resources managers in the implementation of their roles more effectively and efficiently, and the possibility of increasing opportunities to achieve organizational excellence, and the need to benefit from the company's attention to all standards of organizational excellence, To develop future plans and mechanisms to achieve more attention to these standards.

Examining Metal Complexes Formed from New Schiff Base ‎Ligand ‎Derived from Benzene Carbaldehyde: Evaluation of Anti-‎biofilm and ‎Anti-bacterial Properties
...Show More Authors

One of the most difficult tasks in modern medical societies is the process of identifying a cure for many infectious diseases caused by drug-resistant microbes. Therefore, it has become necessary to discover new compounds that work in this regard. The currently prepared Schiff base, derived from thiazole, has a biological activity against bacteria and biofilms and its activity increases when it is associated with copper, zinc and platinum ions and forms metal complexes. This study highlights the synthesis and evaluation of novel biological compounds as inhibitors of bacterial growth and biofilms. A three newly complexes are resulting from the reaction of a new Schiff base ligand (LC) with metal ions (Zn, Cu, Pt). The new ligand (LC)

Annealing Effect on the SnSe Nanocrystalline Thin Films and the Photovoltaic Properties of the p-SnSe/n-Si Heterojunction Solar Cells
...Show More Authors

A thin film of SnSe were deposited by thermal evaporation technique on 400 ±20 nm thick glass substrates of these films were annealed at different temperatures (100,150,200 ⁰C), The effect of annealing on the characteristics of the nano crystalline SnSe thin films was investigated using XRD, UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), and Hall effect measurements. The results of X-ray displayed that all the thin films have polycrystalline and orthorhombic structure in nature, while UV-VIS study showed that the SnSe has direct band gap of nano crystalline and it is changed from 60.12 to 94.70 nm with increasing annealing temperature. Hall effect measurements showed that all the films have a positive Hall coeffic

Crude aqueous Proteus mirabilis extract with quorum sensing inhibitory activity can increase the susceptibility of multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa to antimicrobials
...Show More Authors

Background: Suppression of quorum sensing (QS) that regulates many virulence factors, including antimicrobial resistance, in bacteria may subject the pathogenic microbes to the harmful consequences of the antibiotics, increasing their susceptibility to such drugs. Aim: The current study aimed to make an aqueous crude extract from the soil Proteus mirabilis isolate with the use of the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) technique for its analysis, and then, study the impact of the extract on clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Methods: Preparation of crude extracts from P. mirabilis (both organic and aqueous), which were then analyzed by GC-MS to detect the bioactive ingredients. Furthermore, the extract’s capability to i

Detection, purification and characterization of a bacteriocin produced by Bacillus subtilis NK16 exhibits a significant antimicrobial activity against clinical Staphylococcus spp.
...Show More Authors

Bacteriocin is an important antimicrobial peptide that can be used in industrial and medical fields due to its characteristics of antibacterial, food preservation and anticancer activities. Fifty isolates of Bacillus sp were collected from different soil samples which were already recognized via morphological and biochemical identification process. The isolates were screened for bacteriocin production effective against Staphylococcus spp in order to select the highest producing isolate. The isolate NK16 showed the maximum bacteriocin production (80 AU/ml) which was further characterized as Bacillus subtilis NK 16 through using API identification system (API 20E and API 50CHB). Then, next step was to detect the optimal conditions for maximum
