The sample included (35) varied strategic projects implemented in most Iraqi governorates. Buildings, municipal buildings, minarets, massacres, multi-story parking, paving and rehabilitation of streets and residential neighborhoods. The difference between the actual and planned times and costs of these projects was then measured and analyzed. These projects were used as a tool for collecting data and information. The questionnaire included four axes, each representing one of the parties to the project, which may be a cause of delay (employer, contractor, consultant, etc.) in an attempt to explore as many views as possible. And the results of the research were obtained through the use of the statistical program (SPSS). The most important recommendations of the research were the need to develop appropriate policies and controls for decision-making and development of these policies in accordance with the interest of the work, in order to save the decision maker time to make the right decisions, and the need to study the project documents in depth in order to avoid errors during implementation, And to minimize the additional work as much as possible because of the negative impact on the time and cost of the project, and the need to work on the implementation of the prequalification program for contractors and companies, and attention to the continuation of the process of training and development (Project management fundamentals, planning, organization, risk management, feasibility study, quality management, time management), project management and project management. , As well as attention to the information provided by feedback on the employees and give importance to the administrative organization and performance reports related to the development of workers.

...Show More Authors

The present study aimed to assess the potential impact of serum concentration of undercarboxylated osteocalcin (the active form of osteocalcin) and fibroblast growth factor-23 on the incidence of cardiovascular diseases in type 2 diabetics with carotid artery calcification and the possible association with metabolic changes in relation to glucose and minerals homeostasis.

This study included 52 men with carotid artery calcification type 2 diabetes mellitus. These patients were categorized; as follows: group A includes 30 patients who had cardiovascular disease and group B includes 22 patients who had no cardiovascular disease. ...Show More Authors

The current study sheds light on the measurement and estimation of the radioactivity of radionuclides (238U, 226Ra, 232Th, and 40k) in natural waters of different regions of Nineveh Governorate in Iraq.15 samples were collected from different sources of natural waters, where gamma-ray spectroscopy was used using NaI)TI) sodium iodide detector to determine the concentration of radioactivity in the samples. According to the results, the radioactivity concentration in the tested water sample were ranged from 0.36 ± 0.04-1.57 ± 0.09with an average value of 0.69 ± 0.06 Bq/l for 238U, and 2.9 ± 0.02-0.88 ± 0.03 with an average value of 0.65 ± 0.03 Bq/l for 226Ra Bq/l

CD40 Gene Variants and Disease Susceptibility: A Comprehensive Review of Associations with Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases, Cancer, and Infectious Diseases
...Show More Authors

CD40 is a type 1 transmembrane protein composed of 277 amino acids, and it belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily. It is expressed in a variety of cell types, including normal B cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, and endothelial cells, as a costimulatory molecule. This study aims to summarize the CD40 polymorphism effect and its susceptibility to immune-related disorders. The CD40 gene polymorphisms showed a significant association with different immune-related disorders and act as a risk factor for increased susceptibility to these diseases.

Images of Woman, She-Camel and Horse and Their Manifestations in Tarafah-ibnulAbd's Poetry between Symbolic Reference and Poetic Function
...Show More Authors

This paper tries to understand the poetic reference in the images of woman, she-camel, horse and their manifestations in Tarafah-ibnulAbd's poetry. There has got my attention the fact that these three images have their own distinct taste which is characterised by a clear rhythm, let alone the  lively nature that is filled with liveliness and activity to be in harmony with the poet's youth. For these three images represented the best manifestations of his psychological and artistic poetics. The paper adopts an artistic analysis to arrive at the psychological aspects of these experiences-the woman, the she-camel, and the horse- and to understand the functions of their images and symbolic reference.
