Writing plays an effective role in developing one's thinking and
enhancing Learning. It is, in fact, a means of widening one's own views about
the world for the numerous uses that it can serve (Samuel, 1988:28).
In regard to the unquestionable significance of writing in the teaching –
Learning process, the traditional approach seems to be far from being able to
put such significance into practice. Traditionalists give priority to formulating
students' ideas before using prescribed rhetorical framework and then
submitting the written product for grading. Emphasis is, therefore, limited to the
prewriting stage where a certain topic is explored, and the role of the teacher is
confined to assigning the topic and correcting the final version of student's
writing (ibid.).
Writing composition is one of the many skills that the student should
develop when Learning a foreign Language. Moreover, it is the most
complicated one, since all the other skills from punctuation to the organizing of
the content of writing interact when writing takes place.
The study aims at identifying the sources of information and explaining their role in e-learning from the viewpoint of the Iraqi college students. The researchers relied on the descriptive method of the survey method to collect data and know the point of view of undergraduate students from the Department of Information in the College of Arts / Tikrit University and the Department of Quranic Studies at the College of Arts / University of Baghdad. The study was conducted to estimate the economic losses caused by insect mole cricket Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa on some agricultural crops and Potato tubers in collage of Agriculture- Abu Ghraib season 2012-2013. Study showed Mole cricket caused percentage of infestation in spring potato tubers variety Luciana reached to 11.61% and the percentage of loss in weight of tubers reached 18.88%. The present study aims to identify the socio-psychological implications that police investigators experience regarding the variable of gender, age, place of residence, qualification, military rank, and work experience. The study included 6 individuals who were working in investigation department in Hebron district as a sample. The results demonstrated that the targeted sample had a dump attitude toward the socio-psychological implications. The psychological implications reflected 2.8739, the social side represents 3.2956.
