Jean-Paul Sartre est la figure principale de l’existentialisme au XXe siècle et spécialement à partir des années cinquante. En partant du travail dans les lycées dans les années trente comme professeur de philosophie, passant par la guerre qui l’obligeait à rester comme témoin passif jusqu’à de l’après guerre avec la naissance de l’existentialisme, Sartre déploie tous ses efforts pour une référence intellectuelle majeure sur tous les fronts: littéraire, philosophique et politique. Dans tous ses livres Sartre aborde le statut de la littérature des idées et de l’écrivain dans la société. Il apparait comme un réactionnaire qui cherche à « régler ses comptes avec le milieu bourgeois dans lequel il a été élevé »1. Ses pièces de l’inspiration politiques suivent la guerre pour enregistrer les dégâts de la guerre vers la fin des années cinquante. La France a bien vécu à l’ombre des trahisons des principes de la révolution française qui insistait sur Liberté, Egalité et Fraternité. À cette devise on a substitue la formule « Travail, Famille, Patrie» pour devenir, comme on dit, socle de la « Révolution nationale ». Mais, l’annonce du maréchal Philippe Pétain, le chef d’état français durant les années quarante d’ « entrer dans la voie de la collaboration avec l’Allemagne » a conduit le pays à ne plus maintenir d’un semblant de souveraineté française à cause des compromissions honteuses, soumissions aux exigences de l’occupant et des invasions de la zone sud par l’armée allemande après l’armistice signé par le maréchal Pétain en juin 1940.
This paper presents on the design of L-Band Multiwavelength laser for Hybrid Time Division Multiplexing/ Wavelength Division Multiplexing (TDM/WDM) Passive Optical Network (PON) application. In this design, an L-band Mulltiwavelength Laser is designed as the downstream signals for TDM/WDM PON. The downstream signals ranging from 1569.865 nm to 1581.973 nm with 100GHz spacing. The multiwavelength laser is designed using OptiSystem software and it is integrated into a TDM/WDM PON that is also designed using OptiSystem simulation software. By adapting multiwavelength fiber laser into a TDM/WDM network, a simple and low-cost downstream signal is proposed. Solanum americanum is a new annual shrubby plant seen recently in fields and gardens of Baghdad city. A new species is described and illustrated, inhabit wet or semi dry places and have consequently a mesophytic habit. A detailed morphological study of the stems, leaves, Inflorescence, flower, male and female reproductive organs and fruits has been done, revealed several interesting taxonomic characteristics, which have not previously been studied in Iraq. The kestrel Falco tinnunculus specimens coIldeted in Iraq are found infected with one or more species of the following helminthes; Physaloptera alata (Nematoda), Cladataenia globifera (Cestoda), Prosthogonimus cuneatus (Trernatoda), and Sphaeriorostris sp. (Acanthocephala) with a total infection rate of 30.56%. The results are compared and discussed with the pertinent literature.
Essential oils were extracted from Syzqiumoramac clove, Nigella sativa and eucalyptus oil for purpose of studying effect of these oils on adult cockroaches as repellents and extent of their attraction to them by treating biscuits with three concentrations (0.5, 0.25,1%). The results showed that clove oil was significantly more repellent than black seed oil at a concentration (1%), as average for five days was (0.32) compared to black seed oil (1.36). Insects attracted towards lunch averaged 7.58, 14 and this indicates fading of repellent effect due to penetration of the aroma of volatile clove oil. The development of thyroid gland in five developmental stages of common carp, Cyprinus carpio L. The thyroid originates from the pharyngeal floor as a median ventral keel in late embryos having four pairs of arches. It differentiates into profollicular aggergations and true follicles with flattened walls and empty lumina or with lumina filled with cotton waste-like material in three days-old elvers. Secretion of homogeneous eosinophilic colloid with a limited increase in the height of follicular wall is noted in five days-old elvers. The content of Furocoumarin derivatives (Psoralens) of Ruta Chalepensis L. (Whole plant) was studied by simple extraction with petroleum ether (b.p. 60-80Co). The results indicated that the plant contains a total of about (0.015%).
Investigation of these compounds by thin layer chromatography (TLC) revealed the presence of at least four compounds of which methoxsalen (8-methoxypsoralen) was isolated. It was identified and authenticated with a standard by spectral method, IR, NMR, Mass spectra and HPLC.This plant could be considered as a good source for supplying this compound, which is widely used in dermatological preparations.
