Surat Al-Qariah is from the royal fence, which is in the thirtieth part of the Noble Qur’an. The commentators differed on the number of verses, and the reason for its naming. This surah talked about the conditions of people on the Day of Resurrection, and about how people were removed from their graves, all of which I spoke about in the preamble.
The research is divided into six topics: the first topic dealt with strange terms, while the second topic dealt with the most important audio issues mentioned in the surah, namely (slurring, advertising, substitution, and silence). In the third topic, I spoke about morphological issues, and the fourth topic included the most important expressive ills and in the fifth topic, the aspects of expression were discussed. In the sixth topic, I spoke about the general meaning of Surah. This is the most prominent of what was included in the surah.
This study analyses six political cartoons selected based on their relevance to current Iraqi political issues, specifically the period between 2005 and 2015, from American online newspapers (calgecartooms.com). The paper exposes a discourse taxonomy of language clichéd units in English and Russian, and presents some definitions of what is a cliché as being a semioticform of perceiving language and discourse. Also, it deals with language clichés as being units of structure reflecting a scheme of stereotypical situations of dialogue, whether among individuals of one culture, or in relation to cross-cultural communication. The paper proposes a taxonomy of units in language clichés in English and Russian by tackling clichés of daily use, such as professional, cultural, artistic, and scientific clichés.
