Poetry occupied the Arabs in a unique position, especially in the era; ignorant, Umayyad and Abbasid, in addition to its literary and aesthetic dimensions, it is at the forefront of tools and media at the time. In the Umayyad and Abbasid states, poetry had a clear role in social, literary and political life, as the ruling authority used its influence on many poets to be media to support its political theory, by praising the Caliph and his aides, and exposing those who dissented and opposing them. In present study, the technique was used, including nuclear track detector type (CR-39), for appreciative concentrations uranium and radon in soil samples from Baghdad University Campus-AL-Jadiriyah utilizing a prolonged -term with a solid-state nuclear path sensor, a technique for charged particles has been developed., the radon concentrations, effective dose rate and uranium concentrations have measured in soil samples. Abstract The present study on the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infection from July 2003 to July 2004 ,was conducted among children aged(less than 5 -14 )years attending AL-Daura Health Centre in Baghdad City .(350) specimen were choosen randomly and examined, 160(45.7%) of these were infected , 140 (87.5%) harboured one parasite while 20 (12.5%) harboured more than one parasite.190 (54.3%) were non infected with any of intestinal parasite .
