The apostle who truly proves and removes falsehoods, the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) honored some of their poets; such as Farazdaq and al-Qumit in the Umayyad period; They are peace in both eras, such as Abu al-Aswad al-Doa'li, Ibn Mufriq al-Humayri, Mansour al-Nimri, Abu Tamam, Abu Nawas, Imam Shafi'i, Dick Jinn, and others .. What is the secret in that? To approach the problem of individual oppression with an international perspective drawing on Foucauldian concepts, this paper compares George Orwell’s 1984 (1949) and the Iraqi Sinan Antoon’s I’jaam (2004), which was translated into English in 2007. This study aims to study the political caricature and its indications in the Palestinian newspapers, to know its subjects, the active characters, the artistic styles, and the symbols the caricaturists use.
The study concluded that there is a variety of subjects that the political caricature handled in the studied newspapers and the degree of interest in every subject. The subjects related to the international subjects came first (% 24.5) and the other subjects came next (% 22.2).
