Objective: To know the impact of social networks on the mental health of adolescents in the city of Diwaniyah.
Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on adolescents in preparatory schools in ALDiwaniyah
City Center, for the period from Jun 26, 2015 through to October 20, 2015. The schools were
selected from using Probability sampling (240 random samples) six schools were selected from 32 schools (20 %
from total number) the schools were chosen by writing the names of all schools on a pieces of paper and put in
bags. Then, selected six schools random, three boys schools (2 preparatory and 1 secondary) three girls schools

     After Organization literature era, two literary schools appeared in Turkey and Abdulhaq Hamid is one of this period most prominent poets. During his stay in France with a group of colleagues sent by Turkish Government, he was greatly influenced by the French modern literature and the French modern literary authors.

     The study discusses the concept of time in the poetry of Abdulhaq Hamid. Reading his poetry, it can be noticed that time is important where he frequently refers to day and night, morning and evening as time insinuations. Hence, the present paper gives a brief study of the poet’s life, and sheds lights on his poems that deal with time- concept.

This research is an attempt to explore a social and pragmatic phenomenon of lamentation in elegies of Gray and AL-Khansaa' who represent two different cultures. It illustrates the intended meaning of lamentation in English and Arabic and finds how the two languages express this purpose of poetry by analysing it socio-pragmatically adopting Searle's models (1969),and its modifications.      Poetry is regarded an interesting area of inquiry in linguistic studies due to its eccentric and aesthetic use of language. A lot of studies have been carried out so far for the analysis of poetry, yet few have dealt with pastoral poetry. The present research attempts to investigate the language of pastoral poetry in two different languages i.e. English and Arabic with the aim of finding similarities and differences.
