Abstract:

   The problem of poverty is one of the most important development challenges facing developing countries including Sudan for several decades. Although many efforts have been made to reduce poverty, however, its rates are increasing, and public policies adopted by the government in this regard remain elusive in achievinging its main objectives or making any significant progress. The purpose of the present study is to analyse poverty in Sudan by identifying its measurement, causes and the factors that have contributed to the increasing poverty rates over the past two decades. Communication is a 'dynamic' cultural process and is an integral part of the political, social, economic and cultural aspects of people. Therefore, mass communication means help in the course and movement of individuals and cultural communities. The relationship between media and culture according to this perspective is one of many key factors and influential forces that make it coherent and sometimes intertwined. Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) causes up to 40% mortality in humans and is difficult to treat. This study aims to explain the purposes of thinking in light of the Holy Qur’an. The study adopted the deductive method by analyzing the meanings of the eighteen thinking verses mentioned in the Holy Qur’an That is by referring to the ancient and contemporary book interpretations and inferring the purposes of thinking from the context of those verses. The study concluded that there are seven main purposes, for thinking in the light of the Holy Qur’an, are understanding the universal regulations, contemplating the social codes, inferring, extracting maxims and meanings from the Qur’anic proverbs, analyzing the situation objectively, balancing between interests and evils, and freeing the mind from the authority of the paranormal. The wastewater arising from pulp and paper mills is highly polluted and has to be treated before discharged into rivers. Coagulation-flocculation process using natural polymers has grown rapidly in wastewater treatment. In this work, the performance of alum and Polyaluminum Chloride (PACl) when used alone and when coupled with Fenugreek mucilage on the treatment of pulp and paper mill wastewater were studied. The experiments were carried out in jar tests with alum, PACl and Fenugreek mucilage dosages range of 50-2000 mg/L, rapid mixing at 200 rpm for 2 min, followed by slow mixing at 40 rpm for 15 min and settling time of 30 min.
