What is meant by objectives: the purpose, secrets, judgment, and interests that the legislator set for each of its rulings is a doctrine and a law.
Faith is belief with certainty in God Almighty, and what is required of him in his divinity, lordship, names and attributes, belief in his angels, books, messengers, the Last Day and destiny, both good and bad.
And the purposes of faith are the wisdom and secrets contained in the Islamic faith and which achieve human well-being and happiness in the immediate and the future. And that the purposes of belief and faith are the essence of religion, rather it constitutes a basic pillar on which the basis of the intentional consideration as a whole, because the structure of worship is based on the principles of belief and any defect in it results in loss in this world and the hereafter. The more the student examines the texts of the Noble Qur’an that present issues of belief, he finds in them references to the purposes of faith and monotheism a great deal.
And that Imam Nursi (may God have mercy on him) in all his messages stresses the importance of faith, but has dedicated and devoted his whole life in order to establish, consolidate, strengthen and save the faith of Muslims, and that the centrality of faith in the thought of Nursi appears through the permanent presence of this word in the letters of light. In his letters, he also focused on the gains, benefits, and fruits of faith, including: that faith is the basis of life and happiness in both worlds, rather it is the source of all happiness, blessings, and light in the heart, and it makes man sultan and transcends him and earns him value, strength, pride, and others.
The importance of the research: Its importance lies in that it relates to the axis of faith and its purposes, requirements and benefits in the light of the Holy Qur’an and the shadow of the Messages of Light of Imam Badi’ Al-Zaman upon him be the mercy of the Creator. His heart is an iota of it.
The content of the research consists of three sections as follows: The first topic: the purposes of faith in the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah, the second topic: the concept of faith and its centrality in the thought of Nursi, and the third topic: the results and fruits of faith in the light of the messages of light.
